I do blame the front office.

No, that's how almost all businesses work.
Dude, it's not. I have a small business, it's not the NFL or remotely similar. You have to except the idea of market value.

And for the record, I can't stand the process. I think every player should be paid based on performance and merit. But that's not how the NFL works with regard to resigning players you consider a keeper.
So essentially, you have to find a really good QB, which is extremely fortunate, you have to have plenty of talent and coaching around them and you have to take advantage of the available window. The front office has done none of that.
If fans knew how much money goes toward things that aren't in a players pocket I think they would be more sympathetic. But maybe not. We're a "cut him + fire him" bunch here.

We have to agree to disagree on the Diggs point. Yes, I was disappointed the defense could make a couple of plays to help the offense, but this was the best defensive performance in the divisional round our team has had in a looong time.

I was expecting a shootout actually so I was more disappointed in the offense. Notice I said offense, not just Dak.
You're right. 2/3's of the CB starters were out. We had rookies playing and pretty well considering.

Dak is THE problem here.

He's horrible in big games against legit teams.

Always.
Always?

He lit up "The best secondary in the NFL" on Christmas Eve. He won a playoff game on the road which your hero Romo could never do. With less to throw to in fact.

You can say Dak had a really bad game. Actually. Horrible game against San Fran. You can say its time to move on. I agree with both. I wont however agree with you on blatant lies.

Dak may be the most inconsistent player in the NFL. And that is the problem. Consistency is huge as a QB and Dak has never been consistent. Regardless we are stuck with him. So. Move on from Moore. Get a new scheme and voice in the room. And draft a QB in the first round if there is one there to be had. I would take a chance on Hendon Hooker in the first.

A lot of our problems go right back to Jerry with overpaying people like Michael Gallup, and letting good talent leave for fifth round picks.

The Dallas Cowboys should be in the business of talent, accumulation, not dollar store bargains.

In the 90s, we had a star almost every position.
Our offense of lineman were household names.

I agree Dak was it very bad the other day, but when pollard went out the sheer lack of speed talent and explosiveness became clear to even the causal onlooker.

I can live with a new oc new dc Dak MM with a new commitment to build our talent depth .

Micah is the true leader of the team. He shoulda got up in Dak's face during the game. He...one of the few Cowboys, that holds people accountable.

I suppose you prefer sky-pointing, but-slaps and new Nikes.
I actually would be ok with that. This twitter bullcrap i am not. The defnse while they played good enough to win is not without blame either

In the 90s there was no salary cap friend.

Jerry is 0-28 in the salary cap era.

Am I pissed off he threw two grenades in big spots ? Hell yeah .

Do I think he let us down ? Hell yeah ( stone cold voice )

Is he as bad as people are making him out to be ? Dumb - no

Would 16+ teams take Dak ? Yep

Mocking this guy over his girlfriend?
His facial reactions?
Where were these people when he lit up TB?
Where were these people when he snapped his ankle - horrifically and then bounced back like a champ throwing for nearly 5k yards .
And before he blew his wheel out - he was on pace for 6k yards !!!

That’s when he had weapons of course .

Go get him a Devante Adams - a top
Center - a running back that isn’t a plodding embarrassment.

A scout that doesn’t waste picks on Tolbert and Joseph .

A GM an actual GM.

Truth be told we should have won a ring by now with Dak.

It should have followed Tony Romo’s ring .

Stop piling on this guy ffs …

He’s here for awhile
What a bad post.

Every team misses draft picks. Dallas has done a better job drafting than most.

Dak deserves heat for his performance. He let us all down. This is what happens when you get paid that much & perform poorly. Welcome to the World.

The guy stunk up the joint. Who cares about the WC game… the Bucs sucked. The moment he faces a good team he always chokes.

The guy is making $50m, lives in a mansion, has a super model girlfriend, I think he can take some criticism for his play… can never get to a NFCCG

I think it’s fair to criticize his PLAY but when it becomes personal like making fun of his looks, family, etc. that’s when it’s too much.

And no, with that contract 16 teams WOULD NOT trade for him. Honestly I don’t think ANY team would trade for him based on his last performance.

You still laughing ?
Lions have Goff
Rams have Stafford
Dolphins have Tua
Green Bay have Rodgers and Love
Tampa Bay have Brady if he wants to stay
Arizona have Murray
Cleveland have Watson
Denver have Wilson - he will be given another season to figure it out
Washington - Howell showed promise. They might roll with him depending on training camp.
Giants - Jones is more mobile
Vikings - Cousins is basically the same player

The real market is:

Jets
Colts
Texans
Seattle
Carolina
Falcons
Patriots
Raiders
Steelers
Titans
Washington
Saints

Essentially struggling teams desperate to be relevant.

That's why professional athletes should not be on social media. We are complaining - it is not meant directly at them and hardly anybody would be so rude to say it to his face!

Don't do it CeeDee......see what it got for T.O. defending TRomo. The next year, turned on him quicker than a pack of dogs chasing a meat truck.
Romo turned on him?

Seems like this guy left a trail of QB's that turned on him in his wake wherever he went.

I wonder why?
