Why cant the star remain blue....with a pink helmet?

Just turn change the white in our home jerseys to pink for 1 home game in October.

pink is just a color, it looks neither stupid or good based on that.

I actually dig the color pink and really do wear it often.

I also love the color purple.

QUEEER !!!

There are a lot of events for Breast Cancer in particular. Carnival Cruise Lines has an "On Deck for the Cure" event on their ships where people can pledge to the cause, get a T-shirt and go for a walk on deck. Up here, we have rodeo events where we have a day where the guys wear pink Weestern Shirts and bandanas that say "Tough Enough to Wear Pink". The events have been so successful, that other Cancer causes have complained that Breast Cancer is getting far more money than their cancer events. Frankly, I'm just glad it's happening.
This is actually accurate... there's a small backlash against the Breast Cancer fundraising people for a couple reasons, which has actually gotten nasty at times. There is some legitimate jealousy from other cancer charities... accusations about how they "pimp out" the pink ribbon to any corporation that gives them a small donation, who turns around and makes obscene profits putting the ribbon on their products.

I also recently read an article about a breast cancer survivor who is sick of the pink, which serves as a constant reminder to her of her disease. I wouldn't go so far as to say I am "sick of it" but the problem is when you are doing these little reminders all the time, it loses its meaning. Every week the Fox studio crew has some little pin on their lapels to raise awareness about something, but it has gotten to the point where it just goes in one ear and out the other.

Can't they just have the coaches wear tennis shoes, like they do in college basketball on breast cancer awareness day?

Players with pink cleats

Are they going to wear that?

No, this has been out for a few years and some of the proceeds go to breast Cancer research. And I think it is only available as a mini helmet.

I'm all for breast cancer awareness, my mom had it and was lucky to overcome it, but pink cleats have no business being on a football field. Put a pink ribbon emblem on the back of everyones helmet for the month on every team.

Pink cleats really bother me for some reason. It makes me want to smack the hell out of someone.
