Plan B at RB

This guy. Seen him in person and he's shifty..hard to catch

draft Gurley or Gordon if there. One of them should be there.

IF both are available who would you draft and why,

They are saying Gurley has close to AP type talent but he is coming off a torn ACL. IF he is there at 27 do you take him?

No on any Wisconsin rb none has ever panned out in the NFL.

Dallas may not be draft guru central but Murray came from somewhere... Why get Richardson when you can draft TJ Yeldon in the third? No point picking a back before then.

Problem with a first round RB is Felix Jones. Everyone complained about the pick but where are the other 1st rounders now? RBs just don't last anymore, and can be replaced at lower cost and a mid round pick. Sucks for them but that's how it works now.

Use a 1st & 2nd on a lineman, corner, or WR.

The Eagles did pretty good.

Flip a malcontent and declining McCoy for Kiko Alonso.

Replace McCoy with Murry (who has 656 fewer career touches than McCoy)

And in the process, force your division rival to spend a first round pick replacing Murray.

If this team is forced to spend a high draft pick to replace Murray, instead of on defense or on the offensive line, then that is either pure luck or a stroke of genius on the part of Kelley.

If AD rumors are true that he could end up in Tampa I like the thought of us talking to Doug Martin. With our O line he could be anything.

Not to hijack this thread, but I heard a mouthpiece on TV today say that there could be 4 RB's taken in the first round.

See, this is the kind of utter nonsense that I'm talking about. Give up desperately needed draft picks to trade up for a completely unproven RB coming off a torn ACL, when we had the NUMBER ONE RB in the league and what should have been a clear defensive focus in the draft.
We are not trading up to get Gurley.

Murray is not the number one RB in the league.

We will still focus on the defense in the draft.

Easy enough?

Ayaji has said he models his running style after Murray. I have zero qualms going into the season with Murray Jr.

Coleman reminds me of him too. Personally I want Gurley if he's there but we have a multitude of options.I think the draft is our top priority for addressing RB, not any of the FAs left. We should be able to pick up a good back in about 6 weeks.

What the heck kind of sense does that make?!

Addressing the RB position in the draft with a blue chip prospect and addressing the defense are not mutually exclusive options.

I like Gordon much better than Gurley. He is the only 1st Round back to me.

If Gurley wasn't coming off of a suspension/injury he would be a top 5-10 pick, IMO. With that said, if both are available, I would definitely take Gurley, but both would be solid behind this o-line.

My prediction - first Eagles game, this scenario occurs:
Value of Demarco Murray is proved without a doubt not by him rushing for the 85 yds he gets during that game, but by the fact that Adrian Peterson (which the Cowboys 'brilliantly got') misses a block on the Eagles blitz straight up the middle which knocks Tony Romo out for the season - with Romo's replacement winning 2 of the remaining games and Dallas falling to the cellar in the NFC East. Way to protect your $100+ million investment in Romo, Jerry.

Plan B? Dunno

Maybe sign up Joseph Randle for weekly Amazon shipments of underwear and monthly shipment subscription for 'Guilty' cologne so he doesn't have to go shopping and allow him to concentrate on the game plan instead?
