I'm way too lazy to read the whole thread, but I do know that in Texas it is illegal to carry a gun where alcohol is served. If it's illegal in a Red state like Texas it has to be illegal in NY...right?

2 game suspension coming up:cool:

I say this is more than a 2 game suspension. He can pretty much kiss his season goodbye. It's a felony to take a concealed weapon into an establishment with alcohol in ALL 50 STATES, whether you have a permit or not. This is far from over, because he will be charged with a felony for carrying a concealed weapon into an establishment with alcohol. Not only is his season over, but there is a strong possibility that he might have played his last game for the Giants. He might be spending some time in jail before too long.

Laws vary greatly from state to state. However, virtually no state will let you carry a concealed handgun--loaded or unloaded--without some sort of permit. Some states still let you carry a handgun openly--although I wouldn't recommend it. Some states will only let you transport a handgun in a vehicle if you are driving from your house to certain specified locations, like your business, or the firing range and in those instances it must be unloaded, locked in a case and stored outside of the reach of passengers. The laws can be so Byzantine that it is difficult to be clear if you are violating them or not. So anyone who leaves the house with a gun w/o a permit takes the onus on themselves to make sure they are in compliance with state and local laws when it comes to carrying a handgun. In fact, each local town you pass through on your trip may have different requirements.

Vermont allows concealed and open carry with no permits required. You only must be able to pass the basic federal background check done at the time of purchase.

I'm pretty sure there are no state laws barring carry in bars.

I think it will be more than that - to carry a loaded gun into a bar and then have it discharged should be a full year suspension IMO. That is way worse than MJ or even a DUI.

:bang2: Great! Just the distraction the Giants needed ahead of putting the Commanders out of the playoff picture.

Well I don't think it will be much of a distraction this game but next week, boy oh boy.

Just be sure not to cross the border into New York state, or for that matter try to drive into Canada with it--you might get pepper sprayed by the border guards! :lmao2:

NY does allow carrying in restaurants that serve alcohol according to this site:

Does that include clubs is the question.

That's wrong. No way can I bring a gun into a restaurant in Hawaii.
Its sounds like its a loophole but only if you have a special permit that not many can get:
Summary
Open carry is prohibited in Hawaii. However, should you be wealthy or connected enough to get one of the rare Hawaii carry permits, the law makes no distinction between open and concealed carry. But, doing so would almost certainly result in the loss of the permit. We consider Hawaii to be one of the top 5 rights restricted states in the union.

If they win tomorrow(which I think), they all but wrapped up the division, and will wrap up HFA in the coming weeks.

It's extremely difficult

Concealed carry and open carry are felonies without a permit to do so from the chief of police of your county. Although allowed by law in special circumstances of threat to self or property, the chiefs’ policy at present is to grant only to law enforcement and those military and security guards whose duties specifically require such. Private citizens are denied.

The weather at FedEx tomorrow is HORRIBLE-so neither team will have a passing game to begin with(plus the Skins play back their safeties regardless of what WRs they face).

The run game will have to be heavily depended on for both teams. I'm thinking the Giants pull out a squeaker.

Hmmm...that's interesting to say the least. I used to work the door at a few pubs and clubs, and I have never heard where an unconcealed firearm was allowed. I was always told that there were no exceptions outside of law enforcement.

I'm pretty sure it means it can't be concealed.
