Yeah, I had a late night brain fart and was thinking of the other Ross being considered a first round pick.
Why?It will be interesting how he does in the combine but i am wary of Alabama pass rushers in the draft.
They have failed to live up to expectations, many of them are busts. Why?
DB number one probably the work out warrior from from U Conn. The one Tony Pauline said had stiff hips and lacked change of direction qualities.Lovie Smith coached him.
Marinelli name already locked in.
Well, that makes things easy. We now have our first three picks set in stone.
1. ???
2. Jake Butt, TE, Michigan
3. Carroll Phillips, DE, Illinois
He plays a lot faster and with more agility than Spencer. Really just a step up in physical talent -- somewhere between Spencer and Ware in that regard.
He measured 6' 2-1/8" at the Senior Bowl.Reminds me of James Harrison like others have said, plays angry and with suddeness. Doubt he measures as tall as 6'2.
It is different, because it's one play.
If you want to go out and sign Cordarrelle Patterson because you think he is going to return a kick for a TD in the Super Bowl. Go ahead. If you think that's actually going to make us more of a contender next year, you're delusional.

Dallas Cowboys - Iowa defensive tackle Jaleel Johnson, Illinois outside linebacker Carroll Phillips, Wisconsin running back Corey Clement, and Michigan cornerback Jourdan Lewis. The Cowboys are meeting with UCLA defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes on Thursday night.

I dont trust RBs or OL from Wisconsin in general. Vanderdoes peaks my interest but he probably gets over drafted, tape doesnt match the workout. Guy was one of the nations top 5 star rercuits 3 years ago.
I know Fred is great but I keep thinking back to the LT who was a steroid creation a few ago, along with Monte Ball.Travis Frederick is from Wisconsin. Vanderdoes is a player.
I like Lewis at 28. He's starting to move up draft boards now.
My question is, if we fix the pass rush, do we need another CB? Or can we make do with Carr-Brown-Scandrick or Mo-Brown-Scandrick?
Jaleel Johnson is the best run stuffing DT in the draft and can rush the passer. Wouldn't be shocked with him at 28. Best player at his position imo
I wouldn't mind cornering the market on the interior dline but Dallas isn't innovative like that. We'd rather copy whatever the pats do. McClain, Collins, Crawford, Jaleel JohnsonBig fan of him of him as well. Should contribute early.
