They have been lookinng g for a blocking TE for years. Unlike Watkins he wont go second round.

Per NFL Draft Scout:
Rated number 999 out of 122 TE's 9999 / 3159 TOTAL

Where can I sign up for this kind of talent?

It's the kind of guy you need to get back into the draft for rather than risk bidding for his services in UDFA.

Are we getting any freebie comp picks next year so it doesn't matter if we use some for trades?

One non-combine tight end prospect that’s always intrigued me is Michigan’s A.J. Williams. The senior was not rated by teams entering the season but has garnered a lot of interest from both the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys recently. Williams has offensive tackle size at 6-feet/5-inches and almost 270-pounds but moves well about the field and is a solid short range passing catching target. Expect him to time in the 4.8’s during Michigan pro-day and though Williams may not be selected in the draft, he’ll have an opportunity next season as a third tight end brought onto the field during short yardage situations or in the red zone.

I'm having Kendall Watkins flashbacks from that steaming pile of dung that was our 1995 draft class.

Guaranteed this guy will be our 4th rounder. Start of day three, we'll all be excited about getting a prospect who fell for no reason and fits a need, and they'll pick a 3rd TE who will occupy a spot on the practice squad for a few years until they're obligated to release him or he leaves to pursue a career in sports management

Wasn't there some sort of report where our 4th rounders (at least over the past 10 years) have been....not so good ;)

That Vernon Davis guy is looking good. I wouldn't mind him in the second round.

Met with RB C.J. Prosise (Notre Dame) and OT Halapoulivaati Vaitai (TCU) at the Combine so far.

lol... Spencer... I used to call him "Almost Anthony"... he would crash the end, leaving the outside exposed, then chase his opponent from behind...
never catching him... it happened every week.

Just a guess but I think the Commanders would seriously consider Nkemdiche at 21.
