Is it possible? Yes. Is it probable? I don't think so.

This week's game is going to be a key. If they lose to the Bengals their chances are smaller. I do not think they catch Washington. The Commanders have the Satins, Eagles, Falcons and Dallas. I think they win 20 of those before they play Dallas giving them 10 wins. Dallas has to win out to get to 10 wins. That means they have to beat the Eagles, Bucs and Commanders. Unless the Eagles get banged up pretty bad between now an when they play, I do not see Dallas beating them.

But there are a bunch of teams at 6-6 and SF at 5-7. SF has the head to head tie-breaker against Dallas already. If Dallas beats the Bucs it will go a long way to helping them get a playoff spot, but they lose the tie-breaker with Atlanta and New Orleans if somehow they come back.

Maybe a miracle happens this year and Dallas sneaks in, but I thought we were tired of one and done? Isn't that the entire reason so many want to get rid of Dak?

Why do you guys even want to make the playoffs. These are the same players who wanted no part whatsoever of last years playoffs. Do you honestly think these guys want anything to do with this years playoffs?

Just enjoy the Giants win. It was enough.

Naw. Commanders have a tough stretch and could lose the next 3 games. If they lose to the Falcons, they will lose tiebreakers to whichever team that don’t win the NFC South.

In order for the Cowboys to make it interesting, they have to win the next two games while the Commanders lose to the Saints after their bye.

We shall see . I figure 10 wins get you the right to go WC and get eliminated in either Philly or Detroit . Commanders at 8 almost there

If the choice is get in the playoffs, lose, and draft 20, or miss the playoffs and draft 18, I’ll take the playoffs.

Jerry isn’t changing win or lose. Sure maybe a new HC, but it will just be the same type of yes man. But he’s not bringing in better free agents, he’ll keep the same draft philosophy, and he’ll keep control of everything. Knowing that, I’d rather keep watching as long as possible.

I also want Jerry to be reminded of how stupid it was to give Dak a huge deal. There’s no better way to do that than to win with someone not named Prescott
As long as Jerry is the decision maker this team is never going to win anything of note.
To that end, I have grown apathetic towards this team and the dumpster fire this organization has become.

Ok guys I’ll try again  . For some of the dreamers, go through all the realistic scenarios with wins and losses and tell us why we should believe with you that there’s a chance we can still make the playoffs.

As long as it’s mathematically possible, there’s a chance, even if it isn’t realistic. Nothing wrong with wanting our team to win games and see what happens.
