Please do not try and defend Romo today

No bbgun does not 'hate' Romo.

How absurd.

As for Tony, he's quick to improve on his mistakes ....I doubt we see him fumbling next week.

Hey, everbody has a bad day.
Ask them O linemen who let the intruders through to harass Romo.
Oh, geez, I've just made an excuse for Romo.
Well, let's think positively as we go on to the future!!!!

Baloney. Did I imagine this "lay off Romo" thread?

That's the last thing someone should be concerned about after a loss like this one. You don't get to lose the ball just because you're scrambling, kay? Tack the sack and hold on to the damn ball. Period.

"And no, he isn't being panned nearly enough for his screwups."

are you that out of touch? your are wrong on so many levels

romo is not the guy

I'll finish that for you:

Romo is not the guy............who gave up 39 points to the worst team in the NFL.

There you go. You can thank me later.

Bledsoe on the other hand had plenty of help, but couldn't get the job done. Romo isn't perfect, but I don't know of many QB's that would exceed with how the rest of the team is playing right now.

YAKUZA[/quote]

Bledsoe had plenty of help? Huh? It's the same team this year for both of them. Bledsoe 3 wins 2.5 losses, Romo 6 wins 4.5 losses.

Drops? Bledsoe had 9 passes dropped by halftime vs Tennesee verified by Parcells and the announcers.

I doubt you're talking about last year. Bledsoe had no Flozell or JuJones for half a year and no guy named Terrell Owens for the whole year. But for 3 field goals (2 chip shots) Bledsoe was a 12-4 quarterback. His Cowboys of '05
also had a 9-7 record and the strength of schedule was at least 10 notches tougher.

Bledsoe's legacy here gets worse as the Romo hype rolls on. The spin is way out of whack and the blurred vision exists even after today. Amazing.

To what? What QB would I have drafted? I would have made a freaking move and GOTTEN a QB prospect. Trade up in the draft, whatever. Make it so. Stop trying to find all-pros from the garbage heap.

I'm sorry you can't take criticism of your Football Lord God Almighty.

i can - i just think the blind bashing is stupid done by stupid people.

then when you ask then what they would do, they give you some lame excuse of drafting a prospect but no name attached to it - this way you can stay blameless and right in your actions, even though you never said what you'd do.

good move, chief.

Thank you for confirming what I've been telling these kids since halftime of the Giants game.

We end up with the same record as last year with alot more talent on the field. Our schedule this year was alot weaker also.

Romo is the only spot where got worse this year.

Bledsoe wasn't blowing out the winning teams like he was the bad teams, but Romo isn't even winning against the bad teams.

Guess what else, now we have to go on the road in the playoffs without our veteran QB. All the Romo fans keep saying, "Well this is just his first year."

My point exactly, why limp into the playoffs with an inexperienced guy who may or may not belong in the NFL with a superbowl veteran on the sideline.

This, my friends, is why parcells will be fired next monday.
