After that rookie season, I would've never imagined we would be talking about Julius as we are today. Just amazing how the NFL is. One day you're a hero...you know the rest.

I just watched JDSmith's hotstepper video and remember being so excited about finally finding that replacement for Emmitt after the Hambrick "era". The Seattle games, the Thanksgiving game against the Bears, and the season finale against the NYG back then...Julius showed his talent.

What happened? Was that the real Julius? Who knows...I'm just ecstatic that MBIII is here. Can you imagine if the Boys didn't "reach" for Barber back then? Where would we be?

ESPN mentioned that someone needs to help loosen the Seahawks grip on the NFC West...well, J Jones might just jumpstart that process.
I would be shocked and amazed if we did not win the division again this year (look at what we are up against) but I guess it is good that there are 53 men on the roster and not just Julius.

I would be shocked myself considering the division u play in. Julius has his moments. To me, he's just not as motivated nor as intense as Barber. Good luck this year.

I was really excited when J. Jones came to Seattle. I understand that it is only preseason but golly...we have rookies in our running game that play like they are mad at the world.... J. Jones...not so much. Always been like that?

I think a lot of Holmgren, but considering the players that you already had it was very puzzling to me why Seattle would pay high dollar for Julius Jones. He is not an upgrade, that's for sure.

You know it is kind of funny...my husband is the "roll with the flow" kind of guy...so for Mothers Day I knew he probably would not have anything planned....So...I myself bought tickets to a Mariners game that day...I think we were playing the White Sox but I am not so sure...and I had not been to a Mariners game since I was 16 years old and fell 10 rows down in the 300 level of the Kingdome (which is now Qwest field). So we go and by the 2nd inning Im like "Is it ok if we go now...this just is not NFL football," and my husband was like "Im good we can go," It is funny thought that Seattle has a good way of getting teams to deliver when they need to..but when it comes down to the wire..we do not pull though....that is why we have come under the raidar everytime and critics think we are S### untill we go to the bowl. And our showing could have been better there...but ya know. Mariners fan...not so much...Like NFL better.

They did a great job...and I can not wait to see your field and take pics on the tour when we go down for Thanksgiving....lots of history there...and then ya all get a new one! Yeah!

He'll be mad soon enough... Mad that you guys are the second team to hold back his greatness.

Truer words have neer been spoken. If JJ would stop being so busy setting lofty, unattainable goals in the offseason, blaming others for his shortcomings and concentrate more on perfecting his craft, maybe he could become a better RB. Until then, he will continuously underachieve and, of course, it will all be someone elses fault.

I was going to say, if you were a Mariners fan, that I imagine the Seahawks season couldn't get here fast enough after what the Mariners are doing in the AL West.

As a Rangers fan, I can't wait until Cowboys kickoff. We are already 15 games out, so time to bring a winner on to the scene.

I went to Seattle once. I remember (I think) Sea-Tac mall in Federal Way? It is really beautiful up there. A little rainy for me, but the people are wonderful. :star:

If you were in Sea-tac...LOL...not to poke fun ...yes the people are wonderful...sea-tac area is a little rough. I live much north of that area...about an hour and a half....we have alot of really great people...and the area is nice...should you ever decide to return...snoqualmie is beautiful and if you are to go to deception pass....there is an old logging road (I know) but you drive up it and (during the summer and mind you summer here and 85) when you get to the top (which takes 15 min) you have 6 feet of snow around your car...that is the craziest stuff I have seen. Anyone who ever visits out of state I take them there....simply amazing with a lake at the top too....I should be a tour guide...lol.

I live in Lake Stevens...which is a little from Seattle...the difference is driving from Dallas to Greenville. Where you were at in Federal way...one would have to add another 35 minutes on the trip to get there.

snoqualmie

I remember coming into Seattle I went over or thru a Snoqualmie Pass? I truly believe the most beautiful land in America is that Idaho-Oregon-Washington corridor. I hope to get back to Seattle sometime. I live near Oklahoma City now, and as you know, we stole your NBA team. Perhaps u don't care LOL. They are now the OKC Thunder. Do you live near Vancouver?
