He also is very easy to tackle...It seemed like blades of grass were bringing him down last year.

We have seen enough of Julius to know he wont be back.

Bye Bye J.J. (shouldn't have bought one of his jerseys early on)

lol i was one of Jones harshest critics when he was here so yea i really dont want to get back into all that. Good luck controlling the anger that jones will cause u all year... haha...

Yes it has all come full circle Hammer. I remember the days of trying to make the point that JJ had been dumbed down to the point of no return. I remember being pissed off weekly when JJ received a higher percentage of carries than MB3. Well those days are long behind us and the future is looking GOOD. :)

Hey Seattle fan, Good luck with the Pile Finder. I wish him nothing less than good riddance.

I was really excited when J. Jones came to Seattle. I understand that it is only preseason but golly...we have rookies in our running game that play like they are mad at the world.... J. Jones...not so much. Always been like that?

Blame bill parcells for turning, JJ into a robot, the guy completly killed his career and game, sad .

I think they were being sarcastic, Rack.

Hey, My car goes to the painter is a very few weeks. You're going to love it. New Plum Crazy over old Plum Crazy.

Crate Hemi or Six Pack?? And I got a hot 440 HP for you if you're looking. Pretty sure I'm pulling it for the above. Supposed to be pretty bad 440 but I haven't fired it yet. And what hood. Shaker or the glass take off one??

Someone posted long ago a scouting report on JJ out of Notre Dame...right on the money. He is now what he was then. Wish I could find it again, it was uncanny.
It was me, it was from NFL.com but nobody wanted to believe it.

From one of the many threads on the greatness of Julius Jones.

Once again from NFL.com on Julius at Notre Dame:

Not really a self-motivated player and does not take well to hard coaching … Is just a little too lazy digesting the playbook … Has adequate power, but not enough to take on defenders one-on-one … Not mentally tough, letting minor injuries linger … Just used on screens, as he is a marginal route runner who looks late for the ball … Needs to protect the ball better and show better anticipation for contact … Will sometimes run up the back of the offensive lineman, but has enough pick-and-slide agility to gain yards inside … Prone to go down from the initial tackle, especially when defenders attack his feet … Has good foot quickness and change-of-direction agility, but is not sudden off cuts, gathering himself before accelerating.

Did Parcells coach at Notre Dame and not tell anybody?

Jones on his relationship with former coach Bill Parcells:

” … Coach Parcells my first year, he (Parcells) kind of let me do what I wanted to do, second year and last year he kind of coached me too much, … . You know, you can’t really mess with a running back out there. You can tell them where to go and where the hole is gonna be … … He had me running like a robot. No disrespect to coach Parcells but, you can’t really tell a running back where to run or he’s gonna be out there looking like a robot. That’s what I was doing last year.”

That's just because Holmgren is backing that Cheap (Ridiculously Rich Owner) Allen for not snagging a real WR and using that "don't worry fans, our running game will compensate" garbage. You know what Jennie, Jerry Jones is gonna go get who we need when we are ready to make a run, no one here will deny that. Owner down, this is the best organization to root for and this organization only deserves the best fans. I say you forget the Seahawks and comejoin your real friends. You're a Cowboy fan in my books and I'd be honored to have you abored. Do we all agree?:starspin
Super funny.....cause my husband is from Dallas....well...Greenville all his life...and we are taking his elderly father to his first Cowboys game on Thanksgiving...we are all excited. Kids will be painted up with our TRUE BLUE colors....just hoping we do not get totally kicked. (We have the pride thing and all) Just excited for a good game. Win or lose...excited bottom line for two things. We will spend time with the family and root for the "home teams" what more could you ask for on Thanksgiving but being with family, drinking Bud light, watching football, and eating hot dogs for dinner? The American dream! Thanks so much...you are awesome!

I thought the Bills' pick ended up being Marcus Spears?

I knew someone would correct me on that. Do you think that, if we had one pick, we would have chosen Ware over Spears? I don't. I think Billy wanted Spears and the only reason Jerry didn't play along was because he believed he had a shot at still getting Spears later in the 1st. That is why I hate when people think we got Spears instead of Jackson. We got Ware instead of Jackson.
