Cromartie won't tackle and Claiborne can't tackle so i'd like Maxwell off of that list.

We need more play makers on Defense. We need to draft 2 DE's, 2 CB's and a MLB . The safety position we are ok.

Where's your edge rush gonna come from? You're gonna rely on a late 1st round draft pick? We already tried one of those in Lawrence.

I would rely on
Suh
Crawford
Lawrence (started really picking it up the last part of the season, training camp will help alot)
Spencer (showed flashes and also picked it up late in the season)
And the 1st round pick, and probably the 2nd

That would probably put us at (potentially) top 10 DL, your not going to get much better then that

I want Carr back. Have him restructure his contract. He stepped his game WAY UP in the playoffs and final stretch of the year. I would much rather have him back and Claiborne on the bench. Mo has no room on the roster. He's pure trash, plain and simple.

I agree with this. We all know our window is closing since our Super Bowl chances rest on Romo's shoulders. With that said, we have a late 1st round pick. There aren't many guys you can draft with the 27th overall pick who will immediately step in and play like a star. We're used to drafting in the middle of the 1st round where you're more likely to get Day 1 starters. So I don't want to rely on a late 1st round rookie at a key position. I think we're set at LBer pending on who we bring back (and of course health). I think we need a lot of help on the D-line and secondary. We really need a starting caliber CB. We only have one in Scandrick. I think Moore is a solid 3rd/4th corner and I trust that Claiborne can be another decent 3rd/4th corner now that we're not expecting him to come in and be a starter. So we really need another starter. I don't want to put that burden on a rookie's shoulders. Give me one of the guys you mentioned and I'll be comfortable with our CB situation. That still leaves a ball hawk FS as a need. But I think a FS could be someone we draft in the 1st since we won't need him to come in and start immediately (see what New Orleans did with their 1st round safeties. They gave them some time on the bench to develop but they contributed well off the bench as rookies).

I disagree with our window closing I think we are a young team 4th if Im not mistaken. O Line is young D Line will be young.

I think Carrs play stepped up cause he knew his arse was on the first thing smoking out of town at the end of the season if his play didn't improve.

Why do people even mention Suh? He is absolutely as far from a RKG as you could get. Zero chance we go for him.

Wonder how much Maxwell will be asking? He's probably going to have a lot of teams knocking on his door. If the price is right, the Cowboys definitely should go after him.

I wouldn't invest any more dollars into CB, I would spend on DE/DT or FS

I would June 1st cut Carr unless he takes a big pay cut like mentioned earlier

Claiborne has guaranteed money for one more season and must contribute

Scandrick is solid and Moore, Patmon and Webb?? can fight for time

Add a CB somewhere in the draft or cheaply in FA and we are OK

Suh also wants a JJ Watt type of deal. No thank you. If we are spending mega money get an elite pass rusher like Justin Houston. Suh is very good but not JJ Watt good.

You miss understand RKG. Suh leaves everything on the field.

He is a cheap shot guy, but a true impact DT
