The Saints lack the overall talent of the Eagles plus they lack a single impact player on their defense. Dawkins is the type of player who steps up big in big moments.

Will Smith is an impact player and a Utica, N.Y. boy I might add. Point well taken though.........I just don't agree with you...... ;)

If the game was in Dallas, I would of chosen a blowout by Seattle. But since we appear to play better on the road. I think we can manage a good game on offense.

I am looking for a high scoring affair. I think that's the only chance we will have at winning this game. But it wont be enough. Seattle wins 34-31 on a last second FG.

I vote a Dallas win, because there's still a chance the players out-execute the coaching. Still a chance our guys knock the crap out of those Seahawks, and force turnovers via sheer manhandling. Ware CAN get to Hasselbeck, Roy CAN knock Alexander into 2008.

The Neanderthal approach (aka Parcells of old winning). They know what was coming - they just couldn't stop it.

Bill better be storing up the Rocky Marciano anecdotes this week - Vito Antuofermo just ain't gonna cut it.

Plus I've got HH31's back this week. :)

I'm sorry but realistically I have no confidence in this team. They're limping into the playoffs on a losing streak

I've got ZERO confidence in this defense to stop Hasselbeck, Alexander, Branch....Hags win by 10. If Romo's disturbing turnover trend continues it could be more.

Seahawks win. Fairly easily. There will be one team on the field that is well coached and has heart. They'll be in blue in white, but they have a bird on their helmets.

This Dallas team is a mess. Not one bit of confidence from top to bottom.

There's no reason or evidence to suggest that the Cowboys will win this game.

The coaching staff, i.e. Parcells, will "not let the offense dictate what [he] does on defense," meaning the Hawks exploit our secondary just as the Lions, Eagles and Saints have done, going 3 wide against our base 3-4, and shredding our defense.

Hawks 38

Like I said before, I want to see this same poll at the end of the week. Comparing the results will really be interesting.

I said Seahawks win by 7. Maybe 10.

I think either way it will be close.

About Alexander: He's not back to full strength yet, so he's not going to hurt you as much as you think he will. The main threat is actually Hasselbeck and our receivers. We have a lot of depth in that position. D-Jack and Branch are the main 2 go-to guys, but on off games, they both drop a lot of passes. Engram doesn't drop a lot of passes at all, and he's very reliable, but he's not very fast at all and doesn't gain a lot of yards anyway. Hackett made the team out of training camp and is a great guy. He's young, has fresh legs, but sometimes makes young mistakes and drops passes. Buhrlson is very streaky. He's not going to play very much offense, he mostly returns punts/kickoff. Holmgren likes to mix it up, and sometimes we throw in other guys for WR. Seneca Wallace (backup QB) sometimes is set as a receiver, because he's very fast ad played WR before. It sounds weird, but it works with him. As for Hass... He speaks for himself.

Hass also throws to fullback Mack Strong a lot for short yardage.

Our O-Line sucks, and IIRC, our defense gives up thr 19th most points in the NFL. You guys are 20, so it's not a big difference.

I still think it's going to be a high scoring game. We have 3 CB out, so TO and Glenn will be getting a lot of action. I hear your CB aren't good either.

Our main guys on defense are our linebackers. Both probowlers obviously, Lofa Tatupu and Julian Peterson provide a good attack. But that's pretty much all our D has.

Good - because if we lose, BP is DEFINTELY gone.
Bad - if we win, which we very well could, he might get another chance.
What makes you think that Bill is gone if we lose this game? As far as I can tell, Jerry has given Bill as much time as he needs, and I have no indication that this is the definitive game that will keep Bill here or push him into retirement.

I am an optimist. I think that Dallas is a better team, man for man, and that they also match up very good against this team.

Having said that, I have lost confidence that the coaches will be able to put the players in a position to win.

I have no confidence that they'll adjust their defensive scheme to account for the weakness exposed by Sean Payton, then copied by every team that we have played since.

I have no confidence that Bill Parcells will change his "play to keep it close going into the fourth quarter" philosophy and come out attacking a secondary that his missing three of their four secondary is out.

I think this team keeps it close, and it's another barnburner. Let's call it 33-31 Seattle. Bill announces he'll be back for a final season next year.

(I hope that I'm wrong on both counts)

so, any thoughts on who of your non-injured d-backs will be covering Owens and Glenn?

Yeah. Babs and Jennings aren't way worse than the starting two. The big blow is Trufant. Herndon is easily replaceable.

Still, it's going to hurt. Which is why it will be a high scoring game.

I think if the weather is really bad, it might keep the score down because both coaches will try to run the football more

I think Holmgren is smart enough to know that if they dont turn the ball over, the Cowboys really have no shot

I honestly don't know how the weather will be here. Next to Alaska, Seattle is the most unpredicatable weather in the US. IIRC.

You may be right about the running game.

I'm starting to wonder if Holmgren IS smart enough. Us Seahawks fans are begining to raise our eyebrows about him too.

We've been KILLED by big plays as of late. That's been Mike's main focus lately, stopping that. If any of you saw, you'd remember that 2 weeks ago we BEAT the Chargers, until the last 30 seconds. In the last 30 seconds, Rivers threw it into the endzone from like 40 yards away and just like that, we lost.
