I know of at least one poster on this board who probably still thinks Romo will end up being the starting QB for the Cowboys in 2017. He still hasn't digested the last plate of crow he ate.

Right now we're just focused on the players that currently play for Dallas Cowboys (doing my best JG impression).
then you should add " its football, we play football, tony has left and we will move forward and play football"

How in the hell do 21% of voters think Tony is playing this year?
i think that says 21% of voters want Tony playing this year.
many thought tony would be on some team this year, and would play this year, so the sudden retirement took people by surprise.
And since tebow was allowed to leave play and come back, they think or hope romo has the same deal, and might
play again.

all off season people talked about where he would play, not who he would announce games for lol.

Tony is too smart to screw this opportunity up by going back to football this year.
Who doesn't think this opportunity would be there for Romo the next year for example ?

They're just going to reassign Simms maybe to the 2nd team. Simms could hang on to the top spot another year.

It's not like this the only year Romo will get a shot in broadcasting.

I don't recall Romo showing interest in broadcasting before . As a matter of fact he's expressed an interest in coaching.

Even if Romo ends up taking this position I don't see it being a long term career .

Tony will be done playing football only if there's no interest in his services.

And that might be the case. Who thought his phone wouldn't ring?

My money is on his phone ringing after June 1st. We'll see if it's from someone he's interested in.

I thought it would be good to do this poll now and again at some point in the future, maybe even more times.

I could easily add in various poll options such as when he would play, which team, etc., but that would just cloud the vote and research shows that when voting in polls with softer or more moderate options, people will tend to go with one of those options to avoid committing to the more definitive options. As such, I am keeping this poll very simple by going with only Yes and No options.

Blimey and pepper mush!!!
A brittle 37 year-old, coming off off rehab and 1-year layoff. And a target on his back.
Um, no bloke.
He's done. But he is set for life off the field!
In Britain, he'd be Lord Romo, based on notoriety. And quid.
