Here we go again, players blaming the refs. Such a soft look.

You had a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter. Your offense did nothing and your defense gave up two TD drives. That the game was even in OT was entirely your fault.

Dude this has nothing to do with blowing the 14 point lead, they’re separate problems. You can’t see that?

This is the mentality that’s the problem and produces just ok results. This isn’t a cowboys issue. Every team gets blown calls. The good ones close games out and don’t put them in position to leave up to the refs like we did.
Isn't that what Pollard said? He basically said, we're not getting calls so we have to be better. i.e. We can't leave it up to the refs.

from the quote above it sounded like he led with the not gonna get those calls line….I’d hope he led with the we have to be better line first.

The refs can always affect close games. They tend to affect close games on teams that aren’t fundamentally sounds like the cowboys a lot more. We didn’t close. The refs are a long way down the list on reasons why we lost today

So they're a factor. It's their job to get ot right . They deserve criticism like everybody else. It's their job.

they didn’t have to be perfect at all. The cowboys lost because they played horrible in the fourth quarter and in clutch situations and the game became tight and they allowed the game to become close and close games typically come down to key stops or key penalties.

Again with a 14 point 4th quarter lead the game should never come down to 1 call.
So you're saying that Dallas is not allowed to be in a close game? That they should be ahead 41-7 in EVERYgame because they won't get the benefit of a doubt on calls? How is that fair? All any fan wants is for it to be fair and you're saying we can't afford to be in a close game .

Looked like a PI to me. And I think you could make the case the network broadcast is in on the collusion. The blatant PI and booth discussion disappeared almost instantly. They don't want the people sitting at home to get a good look when the fix is in.

I guess you selectively missed the part where he saaid "we just have to be better".

This black or white mentality to many here have is so elementary. This man said we don't get those calls and don't expect it and said we have to be better and still the self hating tough guy bravo here is embarrassing.

Show me a single player who didnt say they need to be better when also mentioning the lack of obvious calls from the refs...

Imagine a world where it can be both..... You know the actual world all the players and coaches live in. Imagine that.

Yeah they only gave you a free touchdown on a non call false start..and you still lost
Wasn't any free touchdowns.... so you are crying because the refs missed our OT's arm twitch before the play and it ended up having zero impact or advantage during the play.
When your hate and inward directed anger is spilling over to now try to argue with cowboys fans over a presnap penalty that had zero impact on the play, you may need some perspective.

According to some here, players should play perfect games, never leave anything in the hands of the Refs, commit no mistakes and win by a ton in the most competitive league and sport in the world ( a game of inches)

Same guys think Refs make mistakes all the time, no sense on crticizing them, they are humans, there is no bias against anybody, all teams get bad calls, if you point out anything bad in their job performance, or the players (who happen to know the game from a much closer perspective than we do) dare to, is because we are just a bunch of losers

Some logic.

Those guys won a couple Super Bowls. Let me know when this team comes close to one and we'll talk about it.

there’s no logic in this post. How the hell does winning a SB change the fact that those guys also complained about getting hosed by calls? Or change the fact that we get hosed every season multiple times?

You're jumping the gun - he is saying they can't rely on the refs to help them win a game and that they need to play better so those no-calls don't impact the W/L column.

Jerry did that to the team with his costume.
When Jerry dresses up like a blind ref and Tony is making statements like this then we have 2 things going on and they're both correct. 1. We get screwed by the refs in momentum shifting, game winning/losing moments and we have been getting screwed for years. 2. This is a bad look and makes us look mentally weak. Players complaining about the refs is weak even if it's accurate.

I truly believe we get screwed by the refs and players shouldn't openly talk about it.

It's known that Parsons gets held every play. It's bad when our players and other NFL people are tweeting penalties that weren't called. It's a problem. Just once I would love to see the Cowboys just walk off the field after a egregious non call against us. Say screw it, if you're not going to be fair or at least pretend to be fair then we're not risking our bodies in this game if you're going to steal it from us.

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, has webbed feet like a duck, and walks like a duck; it is probably a duck.

You can call it soft all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that its a duck.

Let me put it another way. My wife watches every game. She knows nothing about football and pretty much just screams "GET 'EM!" during every play. Near the end of the third quarter, she got quiet. Curious, I asked her why she was so quiet. She looked at me and said that the refs are screwing us and that we will lose the game. We had a 2 Touchdown lead at the time. She knew.

You mean the OT drive were you got 3 first downs and all get called back with flags?
