I don't usually blame the refs but if that wasn't pass interference then that rule needs to be deleted from the NFL rule book.

This is the mentality that’s the problem and produces just ok results. This isn’t a cowboys issue. Every team gets blown calls. The good ones close games out and don’t put them in position to leave up to the refs like we did.
While I don’tdisagree
It absolutely matters. It's a sign of a soft mentality. "We didn't blow it, the refs screwed us."

Good luck to these players ever winning anything with that mentality.
He wasn’t saying “we didn’t blow it”. He just stated a fact that’s verifiable that we never get those calls. And then immediately said we have to play better. Sounds like he’s blaming the team but stating a fact.

So the missed penalty didn't happen? When asked they're not suppose to express how they feel about a blatantly missed call?

the answer to that question is “the game should have never been in that position to begin with. I don’t agree with the call but it should never have came down to that” the fact that he leads with “we never get those calls” is the wrong mindset

While I think the penalties weren't the only reason we lost, I do think its ok if the players call it out. That was ridiculous in overtime. One sided, and then the one cal we were supposed to get we didn't.

Nah. Any fan who has watched this team knew the refs would call phantom flags on that OT drive. I remember after that Davis run I legitimately said out loud...watch them throw a flag on that run. When they did I didn't even have a reaction.
Will that mean the errors by the team go unnoticed and discussed, and corrected.....which seems to be the bigger issues? Before the refs are held accountable, let's examine the Dallas Cowboys for accountability too. This team may have lost to the Texans today, with the up & down play.

Why? It affected the game, the defense gave up 14 it happens. Doesn't make the miss call any less impactful.

any fan who watches this team knows this team has a tendency to commit penalties at horrible times just like it did last year and has pretty often for the last 10 or so years.

It was no different in the playoff game. In big moments this team will make mental mistakes.

Meh. You believe whatever it is you need to believe. I'm just stating what I see every game. You can call holding on every run play in the NFL. The Cowboys team **** the bed and lost the game, that doesn't change the fact that I knew the refs would take big plays away from us on that drive and swallow there whistle for the other side. It is what it is.

Nothing us or the Cowboys can do about it. They need to make it so the refs can't change the outcome of their games. IE blow the other teams out and stay out of close games.

if affected the game much less than a 39 yard touchdown on 4&7. Then 174 yards in the 4th. Then 200 yards rushing. Those affected the game…….then down the list is the referees

Again, it affected the game, no matter what happened. It took away an opportunity at a chance to score to win the game. Had it been called and a first. Doesnt that not matter? You act like the refs just suppose to stand out there

The game shouldn't have been in OT in the first place. Dallas blew it.

It's fine for fans to blame the refs, but the last thing I want is players crying about it in the media. Winners win, losers blame third parties.

I agree. Doesn't change one thing about my post. Imagine if our last president started a football team. Do you think certain refs would have a certain opinion on him? The Cowboys franchise and owner is facing that exact same dilemma every weekend. If you don't believe that then you're living in Micky Mouse land.

The refs can always affect close games. They tend to affect close games on teams that aren’t fundamentally sounds like the cowboys a lot more. We didn’t close. The refs are a long way down the list on reasons why we lost today

So because the Cowboys did not play a perfect game they forfeit the right to have PI calls made when they are obvious?

they didn’t have to be perfect at all. The cowboys lost because they played horrible in the fourth quarter and in clutch situations and the game became tight and they allowed the game to become close and close games typically come down to key stops or key penalties.

Again with a 14 point 4th quarter lead the game should never come down to 1 call.

So by your logic, the Pack are winners ? They suck they're 4-6 and will miss the playoffs
