Twitter: Pollard: "Playing for the Cowboys, we don't expect to get any calls"

they didn’t have to be perfect at all. The cowboys lost because they played horrible in the fourth quarter and in clutch situations and the game became tight and they allowed the game to become close and close games typically come down to key stops or key penalties.

Again with a 14 point 4th quarter lead the game should never come down to 1 call.
You act like it's a pop Warner team on the other side of the ball. Green Bay isn't a bad team, it was a team playing bad it's a difference. So sick of this deflecting to excuse the ref's impact on games. We are always on the short end of those calls, especially in critical situation. I have watched enough sporting events to know how momentum works, that's competition, but officials effecting outcomes that's criminal, hell I could write it off if it was occasional, but it is consistent, predictable even

Here we go again, players blaming the refs. Such a soft look.

You had a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter. Your offense did nothing and your defense gave up two TD drives. That the game was even in OT was entirely your fault.

It’s the elephant in the room.

Dallas blew that game but the refs absolutely sealed the deal.

So they're a factor. It's their job to get ot right . They deserve criticism like everybody else. It's their job.

the refs were a factor after all the other reasons why the cowboys blew that game……

So the missed penalty didn't happen? When asked they're not suppose to express how they feel about a blatantly missed call?

You say, yeah I think that was a bad call.

You don’t whine about how you think the refs are going to hose you every game.

I wonder if Dak defending the fans throwing garbage at the refs, Jerry's lone "no" vote against Goodell's contract, or Jerry's Halloween costume of a blind referee has anything to do with it?

no sorry. This version of Green Bay is a bad team. Good teams don’t lose 5 straight games. The deflecting is blowing the lead. You are up here talking about momentum? Lol…..174 yards in a quarter is momentum. 4&7 for our anointed defense they give up a 39 yard touchdown…..that’s momentum.

this is a loser mindset from a fan base that’s tired of losing. The cowboys choked. The refs missed a call but the game should have never been in position to be dictated by one or 2 calls.

This is the mentality that’s the problem and produces just ok results. This isn’t a cowboys issue. Every team gets blown calls. The good ones close games out and don’t put them in position to leave up to the refs like we did.

this one was so obvious it smells of referee bias. every team needs to get the good calls against other teams skirting the rules. if this was called the Cowboys win. regardless of a 14 point lead, plenty of victorious teams have blown `4 point leads to go into overtime, but they get the calls coming to them.

So you're saying that Dallas is not allowed to be in a close game? That they should be ahead 41-7 in EVERYgame because they won't get the benefit of a doubt on calls? How is that fair? All any fan wants is for it to be fair and you're saying we can't afford to be in a close game .

no haha not at all. I’m saying when you have a 14 point lead in the 4 the quarter and are 186-0 in those situations before last night close the game out. I’m saying when you have a defense that’s supposed to be so good - get a stop on 4&7 don’t give up a 39 yard touchdown. Don’t give up 174 yards in a quarter.

had that been a close game all day and then that call happens, I’d be much more upset. It wasn’t. We had control of the game and let go of the rope.

the cowboys did not lose because of that call. That’s ridiculous. It was not referee bias. That’s such loser stuff.

yes they actually did lose because of that. It was an OBVIOUS call or lack thereof and stopped their winning drive.

no they lost because they can’t get a stop on 4&7. They can’t stop the run. They can’t close games. Because they gave up damn near 200 yards in a quarter and because in tight games they commit terrible penalties. That’s why they lost.

there shouldn’t have been a “winning drive”. The game was decisively in their hands. They choked.

Winners don’t whine about the officiating. Maybe shut up and be more respectful to the league. The owner could take this advice as well…

It absolutely matters. It's a sign of a soft mentality. "We didn't blow it, the refs screwed us."

Good luck to these players ever winning anything with that mentality.

Soft teams quit. This team isn't soft. They have their flaws, but they aren't soft.

Lamb said it better when asked. All he said is that he thinks if they are going to call it against the Cowboys, then they should call it against the opponent. There's nothing wrong with that comment. Saying that you expect to never get a call from the officials is just whining.

Was it a missed call? Sure however, this team had a 14 point lead and let it disappear in the 4th quarter.... Kellen Moore stopped running the ball.

definately PI but the difference in #1's is there are several names that you can throw out that make that play. I love CeeDee but he needs to toughen up. His poor route running has cost us games. His drops has cost us games and hes our #1.
Its not that i think amari was a huge upgrade because although hes better he wasnt a huge upgrade he disssapeared too much for me. I also dont think overpaying for Odell would be wise

Nobody said it was the, it's a reason, just as the defense.
