Pollard can be a Antonio Gibson type who is currently viewed as a top 10 runner and played WR in college. Follow someone other than Dallas.

Apparently it's not just Cowboys fans who think he "passed the eye test."

Gibson did appear in the top 10 on one list I found.. and he was #10.. He didn't make the top 10 on any of the others. Go figure. So if he's "viewed as a top 10 back around the league.." it's not showing up in fantasy rankings. Now I get that fantasy isn't the end all and be all.. But people are putting money on it.. and seems like considerably more people are putting money on Zeke having a great year than Gibson. PFF ranks him 15th.. 3 spots behind Zeke at 12.. Now think about that.. Zeke is coming off his worse season ever and is still ranked ahead of Gibson. Time will tell if Gibson outplays Zeke going forward.... but if everybody stays healthy I fully expect Zeke to dust him.

That you have to play perform and produce consistently most offensive downs?

The only way you think that is if you know nothing about football. Zeke's blocking alone....deserves special mention. Those are blocks that saves Dak's axe.... that Pollard cannot consistently and long term do.

If you cannot acknowledge that one little tidbit...then of course we have nothing further top discuss on the matter.

Zeke’s a top 5 RB because he gets volume. He hasn’t played like a top 5 RB in some time. No big play ability. Big plays made him special.

Pollard can be decent at the short game and much better at hitting big plays then the Zeke we have seen the last few seasons.

Yeah, Zeke had a bad year, but the whole friggin' team did. O line was trash last season in case you all may have forgotten.

Zeke outran nobody last year and didn't break many tackles. Pollard was more effective.

You're entitled to you opinion. I just happen to disagree. Pollard finished with less than 4 ypc I believe it was 9 times last year? Don't quote me on that I don't feel looking it up again.. One thing I don't have to look up is that he finished with less than 4 ypc and 3 ypc in more games than Zeke did. If you produce a lower ypc than the "washed up, plodding bellcow back" you're not going to get a ton more opportunities. You gotta come in and shine. More often than not Pollard has failed to come in and shine. We can get excited about the 4 or 5 games when he DOES outshine Zeke.. but unlike you I'm not willing to ignore the other 9-10 games when he is no better than Zeke or even worse. I suspect the coaching staff feels the same way.
