Popular songs you hate

Curious why that is.

You don't like the lyrics? I can understand that, but these solos back to back by Richards and Taylor in this version can not be disliked.

Cuz Brian Johnson is a hack. A scrub. The closest guy they could audition to sound like the immortal Bon. So we early AC/DC fans, a lot of us, hold that against him. He plays for the radio and relies on too many hooks. Wasn't old crazy, beer-fueled AC/DC

And Bon Scott is the truth

Never been a big Stones fan. They have a couple songs I like but that's about it.
:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

You need to listen to Sticky Fingers. The whole way through. All the way to the gorgeous Moonlight Mile. It may change your mind. Also, their Muddy Waters sessions are legendary.

I loathe it when they say they're better than The Beatles, but they are great, regardless.

Now, if you're not into 60's-70's rock, never mind.

Just about every song in the top 40 played on the radio these days.

And it's not that today's top 40 style of music is bad as there are a lot of new songs from artists out there that are quite good, but aren't played on the radio because most of the air time is given to songs where radio stations are being paid by the music industry to play them over and over.
Amen, Reality.

Top-40 is garbage.

Most of Lynyrd Skynyrd

There are a couple I like but beyond that... I have to turn on a cd or something in the car when they come on.

Ballad of Curtis Loew... I like that song.... And guitar wise I like the pinched harmonics in Saturday night special.

But the other... BIG ones they play... Wear me the heck out.
This saddens me. That Smell is one of the top 40 tracks all time for me.
