his runningIn his first two seasons in the NFL, Mark Sanchez quarterbacked his team to the AFC Conference Championship Game.

Ninth season approaching as the starting QB...Cowboys Fans still waiting for Prescott to lead the team to a conference championship for the first time.
To say he "quarterbacked his team to the AFC Conference Championship Game" is an incredibly generous statement.

He was carried by the best defense AND best running game in the NFL in 2009 and by a top 3 defense and top 4 running game in 2010. In 2009 he passed for fewer yards than his running game had.

In those 2 seasons he averaged 14.5 TDs & 16.5 INT's per season, and had an incredibly low passer rating and QBR in each. He only averaged 193 yards per game in those playoffs, and in 4 of the 6 games had less than 200 yards

Yup.

It's just sad that people get it so wrong.

I imagine you would 100% be on board if someone said that Dak "quarterbacked his team to the NFC Conference Championship Game".... It's the Dak homie thing to do I guess.

I wonder why it only applies to Dak.

The guy that wasn't good enough for any other team went 5-1 with the roster that you and 4 of your buddies, including OP, believe Dak is the only guy that can do anything with.

I LOVE Cooper Rush for killing that narrative for you Dakky poo fans.

Let that sink in. Bask in it.
To be fair to Rush who did excellent. His offensive production statistically was dropping each game he played. While he did win games it wasnt sustainable. If you believe in statistics. He did what a backup should do. Keep the boat afloat. However. Im willing to throw in basically anybody but Dak at this point. Lose all 17 games. Cool. Sucks it wasnt last year because next years crop of QBs isnt all that great. Just my 2 cents.

Cooper played extreme bus driver, period. He got by on guts and know how. As you said, not sustainable.

You need a new imagination.

FIRST: The team hasn't been to the NFC Conference Championship game under Dak, so how could I be on board with anyone saying he quarterbacked the team to it?
SECOND: I do not blindly support or condemn players. As with my comments about Sanchez, I look at the facts. Facts that I noticed you were not able to refute
THIRD: I do not, and have not blindly supported Dak, or claim him to be the best possible QB to get a team to the Super Bowl. He has flaws, and I have never denied that.
FOURTH: While I don't consider Dak elite, if you can't see that he has performed dramatically better than Sanchez ever did, it's you that is being blinded by what you want to believe

So according to KJJ, its ok for your QB to spot other team points in the playoffs but your def has to stop opponents every time to have a winning chance.... Sounds just right for dak lovers.
It's all for the LOVE of Dak.
Nothing even comes close to them worshipping their Dakko baby............and I mean nothing!
Only a dozen give or take left of them so enjoy the laughter while you can as come next year they all will be looking..............

Yeah. Not Daks fault he threw an INT at his own 25. Defense better keep them out of the end zone.

But then who is to blame when the reverse happens. ‘22 playoff game in SF, Cowboys recover a fumbled punt around the 49ers 20 yd line, but had to settle for a FG b cause Dak couldn’t get ‘em in the end zone. But, still not Daks fault.

I want the next QB to be named Woozalowski, the QB war soldiers have had it way too easy the last 18 years with Romo/Dak..no nicknames either you type the whole damn thing out every post until your fingers fall off...lol

According to...er some people....even in a thread about dak.....you must first rip the defense, poor run game, mike, jerry, at&t, rowdy....

Before we even talk about dak. Even then....we've missed a few.

According to anyone who understands football, especially playoff football your defense has to step up or you’re going home. Defense wins championships. Our defense spotted SF in 2021 and GB last January with opening drive TDs. SF road graded our defense for 169 yards on the ground, dominating us in the trenches and winning the time of possession battle. Go research the Cowboys playoff history and see how many playoff games they’ve won giving up 169 rushing yards or more. Against GB, Love had 3 TD passes and Aaron Jones had 118 yards rushing and scored 3 TDs.

We thrived on takeaways all season and didn’t get a single one against GB. Our defense couldn’t keep them out of the endzone all day. Not once did we hold them to a FG and not once did we sack Love. Dak wasn’t good in either loss but you have no chance of winning a playoff game when your defense plays like garbage the entire game. Go ahead and keep putting it entirely on Dak. No QB or offense is going to overcome poor defensive performances in the playoffs.

Yea that would explain the entire half of football where the QB helped the opposing team to 14 points while our team put up an awesome 0 points on the board. He certainly showed up.
He showed up more than the defense. No criticism of the defense by any of you. It’s all Dak hate.

So tell me why our expensive *** QB can't match the opening TD drive of the other team? WHY??!?!?!!?!!!
