Bruh. Yards mean nothing if they don’t score. This is also the principle of a bend don’t break defense. The Cowboys had one of the best defenses in the league scoring wise the past three years, until they went in the tank this year due to injuries. They did their job. They didn’t lose both of those games. The offense did because they couldn’t score more points AND they spotted the other team points with turnovers. It came up short. As someone mentioned before, the team had five offensive possessions in the second half of last year’s 49ers game, of which they ended up with THREE points. Your argument is really lame in an attempt to defend Dak.
"some people" are SERIOULSY downplaying the effect of not only a turnover, but points scored. Dak threw the (stupendously stupid) pick 6. Then some guy had the nerve to tell me the 2nd interception wasn't a pick 6. Oh really? It was close enough to the endzone to be a cake walk...and again...should never have been thrown.
AT least I didn't get the "they were tipped man!" excuse.
Yes...the defense was struggling...and our offense couldn't even hang on the the ball let alone score. GB held our defense down, and our offense curb stomped our defense, if ya ask me.
MVP runner up? PLEASE! We need to stop covering up...face the truth of what happened there.
