That would be 4 points if we go with your assumptions the defense can’t give up 26 yards. Either way the defense held the 49ers below 20 points 2 playoff games in a row, but Dak couldn’t get it done, like usual.
SF scored 23 in 2021. The defense was the main reason we lost that game. They road graded us controlling the ball. We still had a chance at the end but ran out of time.

Just keep putting it entirely on him and ignore the defense. By the way I’m confusing you with the other Mike.
No one is giving the defense a pass, But they play well enough that if our QB doesn't give the ball away with his chances then we probably have better outcomes.... Tell me another QB that will throw a pick inside their own territory... I don't think you will find many besides DAK in the playoffs.

The defense didn’t come close to playing well enough in 2021, so stop! Done wasting anymore time on this with you and the other Mike.

Got it, all about the DEF because our QB has good stats and breaks records in a losing effort and his team can't keep pace with him.

Production is a big part of it with QBs. If it wasn’t for production the Rams would have never traded for Stafford. He had a losing regular season and playoff record but he could put up big numbers, which leads to scoring. Everyone still talks up Justin Herbert because of his stats.
Don't ever compare the teams he had vs Daks

Down right laughable

I didn’t compare them but both are productive. Stafford had a few good teams in Detroit along with one of the greatest WRs in NFL history. He turns the ball over a lot. Even when he won the SB with the Rams he led the league in INTs. He had 2 INTs in the SB but his defense stepped up with the game on the line. Dak could have won a championship with that team. Stafford still has a losing QB record.

The point of my comment is that everyone deserves a well built TEAM. Does Micah benefit by have a solid run game? Or course he does. Does Dak? Of course...would Coop or Trey? Yes.

Did I say that means they will win it all every year? No...I don;t THINK I said that. If I did ...again.... it wasn't really the crux of my comment.
OK. I can agree with that. It wasn't what I took from it.

You can’t possibly be serious. We gave up 169 yards rushing to SF in 2021. How is that fine? They had the ball 8 minutes longer than we did. You’re not going to win a playoff game giving up almost 170 yards rushing and allowing your opponent to control the ball. Get real!
Bruh. Yards mean nothing if they don’t score. This is also the principle of a bend don’t break defense. The Cowboys had one of the best defenses in the league scoring wise the past three years, until they went in the tank this year due to injuries. They did their job. They didn’t lose both of those games. The offense did because they couldn’t score more points AND they spotted the other team points with turnovers. It came up short. As someone mentioned before, the team had five offensive possessions in the second half of last year’s 49ers game, of which they ended up with THREE points. Your argument is really lame in an attempt to defend Dak.

Explain to me how we are going to do better in the playoffs if the defense cant stop the run or pass ?? So if we get rid of Dak, we will automatically win in the playoffs?? Even if Dak takes a discount, I have no faith in this organization spending money to upgrade the other weak positions on the field. I also don't have confidence in them finding a franchise QB in the near future. 28 years and counting.
The funny thing is the homers always come up with excuses like: Dak needs a better defense that can stop the run, or Dak needs a running game, or Dak needs a good offensive line. The problem is: If we extend him with an overpriced contract we can't afford any of those things. So you have a Quarterback who has hit his Ceiling, eating up most of the Cap, and you won't be able to keep the Talent level around him at the same level with his contract. How does extending him mean we are going to improve? It is just illogical to me. Do you think that Dak will improve or can do better with less talent around him than he had in prior years? We are supposed to draft several players on Defense, Offensive Line and a running back, and Dak will be good?

I rather be a consistent sub .500 team (which would net me a high pick) than a 12-5 team that gets embarrassed in the first round every year.

Look at the top of this draft class. Imagine being able to draft Jayden Daniels (an actual QB) instead of being stuck w the decision of paying this faux franchise QB $60m
If Washington takes Daniels they will be the up and coming team in the NFC East. He is exciting, smart, accurate, can run and is a true leader. If I could be that nagging gnat in Jerry's ear I'd constantly tell him to make a trade with the Bears. Our 1st and 2nd round picks this year. Our 1st round pick next year along with Trey Lance and any other dead weight they'll take plus $$$$$$. Then with the 1st of the draft take Jayden Daniels.
It was a blockbuster trade that put the Cowboys over the top back in the day. We need to do it again. Fortune favors the bold. Jayden Daniels is the closest QB to Mahomes and we can build a team around him just like we did with Troy. Dak was drafted to be a backup and Trance is... well, at best a trade chip or, an oft traveled backup himself.

Had the defense held them to three it would have given us a better shot in the end but you can keep blaming it on Dak.

The offense no doubt contributed but the defense did us in. You don’t win in the playoffs with a defense that can’t pressure the QB and can’t stop the run or anything else. Our D was garbage against SF in 2021 and against GB. You can throw out our defensive ranking during the regular season. Our best defensive performances during the regular season never show up in the playoffs. Our worst defensive performances show up in the playoffs.

QB’s don’t grow on trees. No matter what you think of Dak, he‘s not the reason for not having much playoff success. He was 2nd in NFL MVP race for a reason. He’s that good. Once he’s gone, it could possibly be years before they break .500. This is no Chicago Bears defense in the making not with massive holes at DT and LB. Mahomes and Brady are generational type players. Picking a QB in the draft is a 50/50 crap shoot AT BEST. So many 1st round busts at that position. Casual fans don’t understand that and want Dak gone NOW. But ask them who’s going to be the QB? They think anyone they draft will be the answer right away. Not likely to happen.

I hope Dak gets extended because I know he gives the team the best chance of winning the Super Bowl. I just hope it’s a team friendly extension. Fix the running game and get a defense that can stop the run and he can easily lead this team to the Super Bowl.

"some people" are SERIOULSY downplaying the effect of not only a turnover, but points scored. Dak threw the (stupendously stupid) pick 6. Then some guy had the nerve to tell me the 2nd interception wasn't a pick 6. Oh really? It was close enough to the endzone to be a cake walk...and again...should never have been thrown.

AT least I didn't get the "they were tipped man!" excuse.

Yes...the defense was struggling...and our offense couldn't even hang on the the ball let alone score. GB held our defense down, and our offense curb stomped our defense, if ya ask me.

MVP runner up? PLEASE! We need to stop covering up...face the truth of what happened there.

Not too shabby. It's only a couple wins less than current expectations. I think this season is about a .500 club season.

The ignorance of Dakchoka fans is astounding, Dak disappears for the first 58 minutes then QB draws another Dakchoka classic in the art of how to destroy a team, but yes by all means Dak was let down by all the other players in every loss because he’s Dakgood.
