Depends on how long Bledsoe is out... If it's 1 - 2 weeks, then we give one of the youngens a shot. If it's more serious, then we sign a vet. No one's mentioned it yet, so I will. I can picture Testeverde hobbling onto the field on his walker to give it one last try.

I don't want to see this and neither does anyone else, so it's imperitive that we go OL in one of the first two rounds.

And Cutler = a younger Henson (as far as physical abilities are concerned).

First, I seriously have confidence in whoever wins the backup job between Henson and Romo. I'm bot kidding.

Second, to say that Henson isn't ready to be an NFL QB any time soon is one thing. But to say it based on his play today is just dumb. You came to that conclusion based on his 11 passes today? That's ridiculous. Give the guy a chance to show you what he has. Lets see if he improves as the season goes along.

You are absolutely correct.

There are plenty of backups that could had if we want to go that route. Collins, Aaron Brooks, Jay Fiedler, Joey Harrington (soon), and Griese. Quite of the other qb's already signed.

Sorry, he looked extremely ordinary today. He has a long way to go to be able to function in the NFL this year.

Hey, Brett Farve, maybe Green Bay isn't the place for you afterall at this point in your career and that's why you're finding such difficulting in making your decision on whether or not to retire. It's obvious the fans are getting fed up with you indecision, not to mention the new coaching staff, so why not throw them a curve ball...come to Dallas and make one last run on a real team with a real coach and one of the games best wide recievers. Of course you would have to display that Iron Grit fans of the NFL have come to endear about you over the years to uproot Bledsoe, but imagine the "Rocky" story it would make. Think about it, get back to Jerry. That one ring of your's has got to be lonely.

I wonder if they have threads like this in Indianapolis or Seattle or NE or most other NFL cities. Fact is if your starter is out for a significant length of time you ain't winning. 2 or 3 games? Romo will be fine.

Just to satisfy my curiousity. Why would you want to draft Cutler over Linehart or Young.
Young is overrated. I'd easily take Cutler over Young in a heartbeat.

Like I said, to judge hime on 3 quarters of football and 11 passes just doesn't make sense. So this morning when you woke up Ken, you said if Henson plays well today we might have a backup QB? But becasue he didn't play lights out, we don't have a backup QB? Based on this one NFLE game? Utterly ridiculous.

LOL,, couldnt agree more,,, lets be a little patient here.

Henson has more rust under the hood than a 57 Chevy Bellair for crying out loud.

The hardest element about this game is the speed in your face once the ball is snapped,, and that is something that is learned through repetition, and not by standing on the sideline holding a clipboard.

Please. You judge rookies on their first game also?

Actually I think you'll see teams blitzing us more until we prove sting them enough to make it really hurt. Remember what the Steelers did to Indy; they came after Manning & his OL couldn't protect him.

I just bet my older brother 40 bucks that Cutler will go before Young in the draft. I also made forty bucks by betting TO would be a Cowboy.
