If they lose the next three, I think it’s going to be tough not to.

I mean a 6 game losing streak on a team that jerry said was SB caliber?

It’s still a long shot and if Philly keeps sucking too and we hang in the race even at 3-6, then who knows.

My opinion has been unchanged since 2015. In my opinion, Jones will not fire Garrett unless a) the team suffers an extended consecutive losing streak of six or seven games and b) the team has unquestionably quit (e.g. lackluster four quarter performance) on their head coach. Both conditions must be met.

My second opinion is based on Jones' past hiring practice. I believe he will look in-house first for any new hire. If Garrett is canned during the season and the interim head coach produces favorable results in Jones' eyes, I firmly believe Jones will make an in-house hire before hiring outside the franchise. And I make my assumption with any and all potential candidates, NFL or college, in mind.

I do not put anything past Jerry Jones. Nothing. If I had any lingering doubts before about the Owner, President and General Manager of the Dallas Cowboys, 2016 killed them. Dead.

That is what I am looking forward to. Most of the fanbase wants him fired already. That ship has sailed.

What do you really gain from firing him now. You arent gonna improve making that move in season. We have been a major disappointment, but so have the Eagles so the division is still winnable. You dont want to be home in January is the way I see.

I don't think playoffs saves Garrett. He needs to make a real playoff run. I think behind closed doors the Jones are tired of paper tigers

Richard is the problem....it's his defensive scheme that is getting us behind in the first place.

Because if he has all the patience in the world for his golden boy then that would be demonstrated in an extension.

He will maintain a hard nosed, run first offense. And make sure the team plays an aggressive and physical style of football. His style would fit nicely with our personnel.

He has championship level experience.
