Preach It Tony

I dont understand how grown men are considered kids? How does Romo call Ogletree "kid" and its ok? I'll never get it.

And one the subject.... Romo is playing like a UDFA.

Oh wait...

He is............

What is sad is that our undrafted QB has to tell everybody else on offense where to line up. Everytime Bennett is in the game Romo has to point to where the guy is suppossed to line up. Last time I checked Bennett was a 2nd rounder. So the undrafted player has to tell the 2nd rounder where to line up every freaking play he is on the field???

Looks like intelligence and draft postion dont have alot to do with each other.

Strange... I remember that same line of thought last year. Then we got rid of all the problems and excuses to make the team more "Romo friendly". Funny how we're still saying the same thing this year.

ooops...stop being so logical bleu star.

How exactly does Romo's six turnovers cause the pass defense to be ranked 29th in the league???

Yes, Romo has made some mistakes but to say we would be undefeated if it were not for his play is totally bogus. Other than the Denver game, this defense has been sliced and diced all year.

So to totally give a pass to one of the worst ranked defenses in the league and put the blame all on the quarterback is just wrong. Wade needs to be lined up for the firing squad right next to Romo then.

because with out his turnovers we beat the giants. They barely won (last second field goal)with 4 extra opportunities. A few in scoring distance, when the ball was turned over. Then we lose to Denver because of a fumble inside our 15, and he turns the ball over in the redzone. So he hands them a score, and takes one away from us. The team would not be a perfect 4-0 but they would have a record that would allow for cushion when we play games where we just got beat, that is why I can blame him.

Besides Austin's horrible route (use the freaking sideline man) I dont know how much blame can be put on the WR's for last Sundays game.

Romo was just off.

Well that one horrible route by Austin would be pretty costly don't you think? If he runs the right route there, gets a first down inside the 5, and we score who knows how that changes the game. That one play is a huge difference.

Still the whole team, including Romo, has to play better despite things like that. THere is no way around that.

The other big difference is Brees' poor play hasn't led to 2 losses.

I don't recall anyone elevating Brees above Brady or Manning, but then I don't read every post.

Funny how that whole team thing works, right? Brees plays poorly but the rest of his team picks it up and gets the W. Gosh. Imagine that. A team playing like a *GASP* team.

Maybe if they wasn't having such terrible results we wouldn't be saying this. People have been blind homers about the team.

LOL! There it is again. Any difference in opinion makes a person either a blind homer or a hater. I love the crowd whose has zero ability to actually debate, or back up opinions, so they just resort to the 'blind homer' or 'hater' tags in order to make them feel like their point is stronger that way.

As for the OP. Good stuff from Tony but I expected nothing less. He's learned, easily, not to let the media get to him or to give them anything they're looking for. I like Tony. I believe Tony is a darn good QB and I do believe he'll be just fine.
