Preach It Tony

I've been saying the same thing (on here & to my area 'Boys fans who are screaming doom-n-gloom) and I had to wonder if folks realize how close Dallas is to being undefeated. I know close doesn't count...but this team is a couple of bad bounces away from 4-0; even w/ some sloppy play at times. Some need to step away from the cliff and breathe easy...put the suicide watch on hold 'til at least Thanksgiving!!

Bro, say what it really is. This team is not a few bad bounces, but 6 Romo turnovers from being 4-0. This season is far from over, but people are upset because he is doing that same crap, and every year he seems to to earlier in the year.

well it would help if the wrs knew the freaking playbook. It's Garrett's playbook so it can't be that hard to learn.

Ed Reed already knows it:D

I will not read a word of this though it is directed to me. All caps screaming is a colossal waste of time and hard to read.

:laugh2: if these are the kind of posters who think Tony isn't a quality NFL QB then I'm feeling better about Romo all tha time!

I don't know what the rest of the season holds, nor does anyone here.I believe there have been some questionable play calls and I also believe there have been players who have regressed.I think there is plenty of blame to go around though, but most of it falls on the players. The way I look at it is that this team was in a position to win in both of their losses, that's all you can ask of a staff. Now if they were blown out in both of the losses I would be more inclined to blame it all on coaching.A staff can only control so much and when you reach a certain point the players have to step up and make a play.

I'm not saying it's been all roses w/ Romo...anyone who's watched our first 4 games knows that. I'm just saying in spite of that, they've still had pretty good opportunities to win during their two losses...am I right? But, as always, he's not the sole reason they lost just like he doesn't win games by himself...

We,we,we,we........no! .....its me,me,me,me,me,! Ur the one who chokes Romo just say I have sucked lately.Maybe if a real coach was with us and would say Jesus kid wake the f up! he would take his head out.BP had him playing his best.

Sunday after losing to the Chiefs....

Reporter: Tony what happened out there today, were you expecting to play better?

Tony: You know, It's kind of like this, The Chiefs you know, are technically Commanders, you know, like CEO Commanders in the Indian world, cause Chiefs are like the boss Indians.
Everybody knows we always have a tough game against the Commanders because they are our bitter rivals. Well this was like playing the Commanders to the tenth power.

Oh yeah, and, Todd Haley knows our team and stuff.

But I have confidence we will play better during the bye week.

:D
Don't forget. According to our coach a bye is like a win

Best post in the thread IMO. :bravo:

I think its funny when people take the stuff he says and further try to push their own ideals of him being a good QB.

He is a good QB. Wish more people grasped that.

is he still a top 5 qb?
I have no idea why I am answering this. I always regret these setup questions by you. IMO, yes he is and the end of the season will bear this out.

I also think he'll be consider top 5 by seasons end. But he's not playing like a top 5 QB now.
He's played middle of the pack football at best.

Does that make you happy?

I thought he wasn't a 1st round pick, but he's playing very well.
