if we can somehow get Vea in draft and under radar NFL speedster receiver to take lid off defense and Dak connects well with him in camp...and Zeke dont get suspended or injured...and Smith back dont hurt...and we get good LG...and our linebackers ball out and dont get injured...we can win the east ..i know lots of ands and ifs

Lol

In reality, we were an 8-8 team who got a 9th win against a team playing their 3rd stringers.

Since we have yet to improve (before free agency and the draft), we are still an 8-8 team.

Hoping and wishing are not successful strategies in football. Must get better to be better.

Exactly..................I don't count that game against the Eagle's practice squad as legit either.

What teams do they play I know the schedule isn't out yet but who they play should be available you should have posted that what AFC division do they play and what NFC division do they play then there would be two odd games we might not know yet

was a 8 and 8 team last year coaching and injuries will determine a lot about what they are this year to get better you have to improve the team and they haven't done that yet

Our injuries were nothing in comparison to the rest of the league, but then again were the Cowboys.

10-6.
Despite playing the Egirls twice and the Skins, Big Easy, Atlanta and the Jags. And a possible meltdown by the clapper, 9-7. Cowboys at the 5. Maybe you should use, lad, Elliott 3 times in a row?

As it stands, regress to the mean which seems to be 8-8. Given precedent, I don't really have a lot of faith we'll be able to absorb many key injuries, and the lack of attention given to combine defense interviews kinda annoys me.

* record subject to change as we go through offseason

JG heeds his own advice to Dak and works on his clapping form. Shows up to camp much improved.

He also works on his butt-slapping release but shows up with too much Romo baby fat. Players take a knee in protest........ claims of sexual harrassment/assault abound.

Players pull a Garrettesque tank to get him fired. 2-14.

PS I'll lend anyone who has predicted a better than .500 season my plexiglass bellybutton. I use it for those occasions when I've got my head so far up my a$%, I can't see.

Until i see what potential changes are made to the way we play on the offensive side of the ball i say anywhere from 7-9 to 9-7. I do believe we will be better on the defensive side of the ball but not enough to make up for the way our offense played the last half of last season. We were under 200 yards passing in 7 of our last 10 games last season and 2 of the other 3 were 212 and 249. You won't win much in todays NFL if you pass the ball like that, it doesn't matter who your running back is

When I look at the 2018 opponents, home & away, it doesn't look like that tough a schedule. But until I see the true schedule by date I'm reluctant to make a prediction. It seems to me we get shafted a lot playing teams coming off of byes & Thursday games, giving them edge. Factoring in the inevitable suspensions, injuries, and lack of decent depth I can't see us doing any better than 10-6, or as bad as 7-9.
Pretty bold huh?

Actually, I believe this is a double digit winning team, if there are no distractions. It is up to the players to make it happen. Coaching and administrative decisions are not always dependable.
