I think this is clearly my least favorite thing about Dak. His overconfident, rah rah attitude. Maybe he thinks thats what he needs in order to lead. I personally would rather see him say that we have a long way to go and we need to stay focused. Nothing comes easy, yada yada yada. This team has a lot to prove.

I don't think it's overconfidence.. I think it's self belief which is chief among his attributes IMHO. Doubted Dak has ALWAYS been the best Dak.. Reading and hearing all this crap about what he CAN'T is going to motivate the hell out of him. I expect to see the best version of Dak we've ever seen this year.. as long as we keep him upright which will be a challenge no doubt behind this line... which is why he needs his personal bodyguard on the field.. you know.. the guy you hate so much.. (Sorry couldn't resist!) .

But post season success isnt the only thing that makes a qb great. All great qb's will straight up tell you they didn't do it alone, their teams stepped it up together in pivotal moments.

Since PappyDOG won't/can't answer this I'll ask you...

How was performance of the defense, special teams, coaching, and team building during Dak's run?

so we should rewrite NFL history in how great QBs have been judged historically just to prop up your hero?

Take your fan boy crush elsewhere

Dak's been saying the same things for several years and the last 6 games of last year prove him hollow. Dak can't deliver when the chips are down like Brady and that's just the way it is.

Saying everything is going to be great is not what this team needs. If the line cant block, then Dak wont be able to be his best version. No different than Zeke. Sadly Zeke will be one of the main reasons Dak gets killed as his 3 ypc average will lead to too many 3rd and longs.

So you are predicting that a healthy Zeke will average less ypc this season than he did playing on one leg the last 12 games of last season? How much are you willing to bet on that?

Im willing to bet that if Peters doenst get signed that zeke will have another disappointing year.

did Zeke get injured in 2020? His average was 3.9 ypc for the year. So dont act like your hero is beneath playing bad when healthy.

Lets see who they sign and if they sign anyone and we can have our own little side bet.

But I tell you what...................I have no problem betting that Pollard will have more ypc than Zeke no matter what the circumstances.

Since when is SB wins the ONLY factor in determining a great qb?

Speaking of NFL history... Dan Marino is considered a top 5-10 qb of all time. Sure having no SB wins is part of his legacy, but that doesn't knock him off the top 10 all time list.

Before you get your panties in a bunch, I'm not comparing Dak to Dan...

If you're playing in a meaningless Week 18 game against the Eagles practice squad you're not hurt.

Moving goalposts is typical for fan boys like you

Thats all these clowns have left. LOL

They started out insulting Dak becuase of his stats. Once Dak starting tearing it up, they changed to wins. Now that the team is getting lots of wins they run to team playoff success and SB's. LOL

No different then what the Romo trolls did. When you lost the argument, you change the narrative.

Whats the difference? If we have post season success, you will just move the goal posts to SB wins. Typical troll agenda. When you lose one argument, you move onto another.

"Duh, but how was I wrong? We havent won a SB with Dak yet" :lmao2::lmao2::lmao:

Like I said before, I'll quote myself since you clearly didn't read nor comprehend what I said... these qb's you hold so highly, didn't do it by themselves.

*Oh, and you still didnt answer my question about the performance of the rest of the team.

Comparing Dak... hell any qb to Brady aka the greatest qb of all time, they will fall short.

Nowadays building a good team around a good/great qb is how SB are won.

Okay..Leave GOAT Brady out of the issue. Just replace with Joe Burrow rinse and repeat.

If you're playing in a meaningless Week 18 game against the Eagles practice squad you're not hurt.

Apparently you don't understand the difference between hurt and injured. Hurt means you are in pain.. Injured means you can't play. Everybody is hurt on one part of the body or another in week 18.. That's football.. People who have a problem with Zeke playing to get his 1000 just hate Zeke. Those people ignore the fact that if he had not sat out 7 4th quarters because the Cowboys were blowing the other team out he would have gotten his 1000 by week 12 or 13 and he ALSO would have sat out the week 18 game. The coaching staff rewarded him for sacrificing his body to help the team .. You don't like it.. take it up with McCarthy. I have no problem with it. Just out of curiosity, were you this upset about Murray playing in the last 2-3 games in 2014 with pins in his hand so he could break Emmitt's single season record? I mean Joseph Randle averaged almost 7 ypc as his backup and surely could have managed those last couple of games while Murray healed up.. right?

He had the opportunity against San Fran in the playoffs. The team is worse offensively this year than last. The line is not great. Elliot is not getting better, wide receiver is worse…on and on…and McCarthy and Moore still run the offence. And I don’t ever recall Aikman and Romo ever having to keep talking about doing…they just did it.

Every player is capable of playing bad.. However your assertion was that Zeke would average 3 ypc this year. Which would be a full yard lower than his next worst season. That was what I asked what you would be willing to bet on that prediction. I am willing to bet that Zeke exceeds 3 ypc no matter who they sign or don't sign.

P.S. Yes he DID actually get hurt in 2020.. in fact he missed his first game due to injury that year because of a pulled calf muscle if I recall correctly. He tried to play through it for a couple of games then finally had to sit one out.

Even at that his stat line that year:

Games Carries Yards TD first downs long YPC
15 244 979 6 62 31 4.0

I'll just leave that right there..
