"Where we are right now, it's all excitement. It is," Prescott said. "It's truly a privilege to be the quarterback of this team, to be a leader of these guys, offense, defense, this coaching staff that we have. And yeah, especially with everything being said about us -- you know what I mean? -- the lack of what we have, keep writing, keep talking. We're ready to go play."

Blah blah blah . . . & blah

I hope he does, that only means he's having a great season. I don't care where anybody wants to rank him, top 5, top 10, are middle of the pack. The season is about to start and I'm wishing Dak and the Cowboys the very best.

I keep reading about haters, who gives a damn about haters
In 2022 the verb has become an adjective & noun. . . and you can't prove a negative . . So small minded people let accusations fly

The Cowboys just need to take care of their own business, The doubters will slowly fade away.

Dak's got the right slant on things -- I'll give him that. The Cowboys definitely have something to prove! Here's hoping it happens.

Lol I'm not worried at all, some fans just aren't very smart.
I hear ya. I do think there is a ...danger....assessing football I.Q.....on an internet fan message board. I'm not really overly dumb....but I know I can barely tell you what a 2 tech defense is.

But...I also know I am a good fan and cheer on my Cowboys. Some people might think I am only here for the drama, but I have to stay out of technical tech by necessity.

All great QBs are judged by their post season success
But post season success isnt the only thing that makes a qb great. All great qb's will straight up tell you they didn't do it alone, their teams stepped it up together in pivotal moments.

Since PappyDOG won't/can't answer this I'll ask you...

How was performance of the defense, special teams, coaching, and team building during Dak's run?

Wouldn’t it be nice if the team would just go out and let their play, both individually and collectively, speak for itself? Let’s take care of business on the field and let their play, not their words set the tone. Play a complete, clean game against a playoff-caliber opponent, not some anemic Division opponent, and actually win…NOW that will prove the doubters wrong.

Football IQ? Morris Claiborne scored a 4 out of 50 on the Wonderlic and still was drafted in the 1st round

Impressive and exclusive group that has football IQ…….so hard to grasp

If Terry Bradshaw had taken the Wonderlic he may have achieved a negative score….

a lot of this stuff is overblown and exaggerated by some of the fanatics. At the end of the day one man has to beat the man in front of him

I'm not getting my hopes up. I've never been less confident about a team.

But I would LOVE to be proven wrong. Hopefully, people understand why I don't want to get my hopes up. Been disappointed too many times.

I don't know why people get bent out of shape about these comments. I fully embrace the "Show me, don't tell me" mentality, but most of the time they don't just say these things out of the blue. They're asked questions by the media and they respond.
