And Mr. 1 playoff win in 6 seasons......Drum-roll, please.....

I wasn't around for the Roger or Danny White days. I was just starting to watch football around Aikman's last season as I was born in 1992. So, the best Cowboys QBs I have actually watched since becoming a Cowboys fan are Romo and Dak.

Oh, I know, and I'm saying the Packers bottled the 49ers game just like they did the Giants game in the 2012 season. And, just as Dak would never get away with that on here, I think it's just as right to say that Rodgers was part of those bottle jobs.

Hell Rodgers got a pay raise despite the fact they has another year on his contract.

It always amazes me how middle class fans curse hate the "workers" in the NFL. Always ready to side with management at a moment's notice for every issue.

and it always amazes me how people try to compare pro sports athletes to "Workers," in the real world. Sports leagues are like Fantasy Island. It isnt the real world. It has no comparison to the "MiddleClass," fans you reference in your post.

By the way, my wife works for a very large publicly traded company that spans at least 3 continents that I am aware of. If the company said to my wife we need you to work in Chicago... and that is your only option, she would not be able to tell her company nah, Im staying here. Where in the real world do 'Workers," get to dictate to their employers where they work?

Exactly, but don't worry, he's not got a star on his helmet, so he's immune on these boards from bottle jobs. It's someone else's fault that they bottled those games.

no difference what has the barney won? no difference. Do those guys get the bad offensive line, defense, coaching, offensive coordinator, coach, and the owner excuses? hum, probably not. They are not this idiot.

I don't remember Barney ever winning playoff games, winning the division, or more often than not beating our hated rivals.

…..they have to do better than #1

https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-final-2021-offensive-line-rankings

Dak being the 23rd least sacked quarterback is unacceptable
This stat is completely bogus.

Dak was top 10 in time to pass...meaning getting rid of it quickly. Most of that was we had to run designed smoke screens/quick hitting passes to cover the ineptitude of the OL.

Throw in the league leading soul crushing penalties of this line, that is all they really led in.

And he'll continue dropping as other new contracts take place. He could be 20th on that list & we'll still see our flock of little haters complaining he's making too much!
say what you want. come up with all your excuses. the goal post was never moved. I asked a simple question, based on your/their logic.and it seems you got upset to be called out.

its a simple question really. based on your/their logic. now you got all twisted.
So because his listing drops as new contracts are made, his expectations should drop...."according to (the people you want to create arguments with)".
Again....im trying to think of someone....anyone....who expected "top 2" performance.

Did you have anyone in mind....or did you cast and hope for a random bite?

I agree, to be elite at any sport in the guy who can produce at a high level year in and year out, it is not 1 season of great play. I think Dak is a good player and a guy a team can with. Rodgers in my view is elite but despite that fact he has not seen a SB in over 11 years.
Just goes to show you that all of the Prescott hate is meaningless nonsense. It takes a team.

I agree, however I never expect full immunity, Dak shares in the blame of not getting to the top but he is far from the soul reason. I think some understand the game of football based on the play of the QB and nothing more yet the QB as important as it is, is also a position that relies on those around him doing their job, no QB can walk out there and do it alone. For this team to get to where they want will require then stepping up as a team and making plays from the star players to the jag, it take all players doing their jobs. If this was about who has the best QB then Rodgers would be sitting there with multiple SB rings, yet has 1 from over 11 years ago?

Neither do I. I expect the players to all get the blame when a team loses. And, as such, Rodgers shares in the blame of bottling two 1st seeds where they looked like juggernauts. Yet, the players, including Rodgers, failed. As to the second half of your post, if this was about the skill of the QB, I reckon Romo would have had a few rings, particularly in 2014.

But Watson has the 2nd best passer rating of all time and Dak is not #1 on that list.

According to your use of passer rating as a barometer how can they be on par with Dak now passing him?

Either you take passer rating serious or not, or you just use it to fit an incredibly biased agenda.

More lame BS from you I see. At no point have a ever stated that passer rating is the end all and be all anything. It simply rates how well a passer performs AS A PASSER against a defined set of criteria. However it is only one component of QB performance. You put all the components into the equation when evaluation the QB.. Hell you should do that for any position. No single number defines the entirety of any player. That's YOUR strawman to burn.. So have at it.
