Prescott had a very shaky 4th QTR

I can't believe we have the worst defense in the NFL, one that just gave up a 6.5 minute drive to kill the game, and there is a 27 page thread on how Dak is the problem because didn't score a 4th TD.

I know this board loves to hate Dak, and a lot of times the criticism has been justified, but it's still surprising the lengths you'll all go to pin every single bad thing on him.

The reality is that it doesn't matter who our QB is this season. The defense is that bad. We can't win because the defense is rock bottom of the league. We made Russel Wilson look like an all-pro and he was benched (probably for the rest of his career) two weeks later. Rico Dowdle just hung 200 yds on us at 6 yards a carry. Caleb Williams had the best game of his career on this team.

Seriously, what sport are you watching? What team are you watching? Because I see a guy that is playing elite and keeping us competitive while our defense leaves receivers 5yds open in the end zone and plays 40 yards off the receivers on 3rd and 2.

You are funny. You obviously are confused by the meaning if you think it’s synonymous with low IQ. You know message boards are literally full of bots don’t you?

And it doesn’t bother me other than it fills up the boards with nonsense. People should show a little common courtesy…unless they are bots which then I can understand.

Seems like you are the one bothered since you jumped into a conversation that had nothing to do with you. He hasn’t even responded. Just likes your post for taking up for him for some reason.

Are you a bot?" is a question often asked to determine if someone is a human or an automated program designed to simulate human interaction, like chatbots. It reflects concerns about authenticity and the nature of online communication.
If I am confused by the meaning of "bots".... okay.

But you are VERY confused by the very essence of a forum...a message board.

You are talking to EVERYONE...thousands of people. And get this...they are free to "jump in"...anytime anyhow they want.

It's a new thing you'll get used to it.

I can't blame dak, not even Tom Brady could have gained 5 yards to set up a go-ahead field goal. That would have taken a real MVP quarterback to do that.
Sometimes in overtime, you never get the ball back at midfield; that's a scary position to be in.

1st quarter when Dak was alledgedly playing great. He had Flournoy open for a TD. He ended up throwing to him after the safety adjusted and closed on him breaking up the pass. Dak is indecisive and doesn't see the field well, he never has.

Completely mad to say he doesn't see the field well when he has 13TDs to 3 INTs and this offense is second in league in yards per game. This talking point/stereotype has been completely disproven over the years, and yet people like you continue to perpetuate it despite all the evidence proving otherwise.

Also, where's the screenshot of Schoonmaker dropping a TD in the 4th quarter that would've put us ahead? Love to cherry pick the plays that don't work out (on a day that he got 3 TDs), where are the ones that the other 10 players **** the bed? Those don't count, right?

You realize that destroys the whole premise of your comment then, right?

The whole premise of your original comment to me was false and because of that, you accused me of all kinds of things that were never said or insinuated. Just admit that you were wrong and move on. Doubling down is not a good look.

So he doesn't see it exactly as you demand.....he's a bot and "not-a-fan".

Surprised you didnt' call him "low IQ stupid".
By the way, this was your original reply to me. Kind of changes the whole conversation when you realize what words mean.

And you draw some very defensive conclusions. I never said you couldn’t join conversations. You said I was mad and I said the fact you jumped in with accusations might suggest you were mad. You seem quite quick to judge.

He looked fairly comfortable all game didn’t really get hit/sacked. On the goal line he then fumbled the ball for no apparent reason. Dallas had to settle for 3. For the rest of the quarter he had happy feet despite having plenty of time in the pocket. He didn’t use his legs , didn’t throw anything downfield.

On our last drive Dallas got the ball on the 46 yard line and Dak checked it down 3 times for minus 12 yards. On every single one of those plays he looked like a deer in headlights. No more MVP talk. I don’t care what the stats say, he was off when it mattered most.
He didn't check down they were called screens dude get over it. That's all I'm responding because it's ridiculous you even brought a post up about Prescott the defense is horrible there was once again no run game we were one dimensional There wasn't even very good blocking I hate to say it by bringing back Guyton and even maybe after they checked the film Tyler Smith's more hurt we were better with the backups..facts

Prescott literally has to play with one hand behind his back with no defense then he has to play with one shoe off because he has no run game and then he has to undo his laces and run around like that because his offensive line wasn't good yesterday they got manhandled and yet here we are with a Prescott post man some of you are the most clueless ridiculous haters on earth.

Same. I became more critical of Dak over the years cause he was looking off. This year, outside of the Bears 2nd half, he's been one of the teams positive players.
Could he of been better? Sure. But to pin any of the loss on him is baffling. The defense is a tire fire. We got lit up by Caleb Williams and Rico Dowdle, and we are only 6 games in.

No run game and the qb struggles.

Not at all suprised.
Mean no run game a shaky offensive line and some suspect play calling that our quarterback are calling those checkdowns those were two screens those literally were the calls by the head coach slash OC..

More than baffling it's what the haters want anytime there's a loss they're gonna come in and say well he should have scored 30 or 33 that's his job that's why he gets paid 60 million blah blah blah blah the haters will never stop the man is now thrown 11 touchdowns The last three games and the team is one one and one..

No turnovers 11tds zero turnovers 1-1-1

They said that's the first time in history that's ever happened they should be on a three game win streak with those kind of numbers he's still playing like an MVP but you want more out of them even though yesterday was the worst we've seen out of the offensive line in the run game all year and a bad defense to boot this is what our team does usually look like and then we turn on social media and we're blaming the quarterback....

If not for the awful roughing the passer call, the second Pickens TD doesn't happen.

Dak has had many early seasons like this, only to crap the bed when it really matters as the season goes along.

This is a rebuilding year anyway.

Your point here is complete nonsense: Every single play in every single game could've ended up differently if something different happened!

If Carolina misses their FG, we go to overtime. If Murray gets to the flat earlier and picks Young, we win the game etc. If Schoonmaker catches a TD in the endzone, we take the lead etc...

Try to stick to reality.

And plenty of more shaky 4th quarters to come this season. So put on your seatbelt and just enjoy the ride. Lower all expectations. It'll be more fun that way.

:flagwave:

That was third down. I know the chips fall differently after, but we all know Carolina would have just run it down our throat and built a two-score lead. Game over.

That game wasn't really that close.

That’s what I think. We didn’t lose because of Dak. In fact Dak and Pickens kept us in it. We lost cuz our defense is terrible. Like really terrible. But that last drive was pretty bad on the whole offense: playcalling, execution, scheme and timing. Dak was a part of that drive so he shoulders some blame but no more than offensive linemen, rb, and HC.

So the OP isn’t completely wrong cuz that last crucial drive didn’t go good. But that drive and the game is not 100% on Dak. I wonder if Dak and the rest of the offense knew if they didn’t convert and score the game was over and over pressed?
Totally right if it wasn't for Pickens and Dak we would have gotten smoked. The Cowboys punted with 6 minutes left, I think they reasonably thought they would get another attempt in a 2 minute drill and I did too. Their inability to stop the run coupled with the critical PI call on 3rd down, and then playing soft coverage on 4th and 4 ultimately killed them on that last drive. If 1 out of 3 of those went in their favor we probably get one last attempt.

C'mon K....Mayfield is on his 3rd team for a reason. After being the first overall draft pick........
I'm sure you can find a better example to trash Dak
Because Mayfield was the number 1 draft pick taken and went into an organization that was a complete disaster and was expected to resurrect a franchise, while Dak came into a loaded roster with basically 3 HOF linemen that played together for multiple years, a RB that played against more stacked boxes than any other team in the league and Jerry gave him no competition and baby sat him while playing against the weakest division in football…

Bryce was getting pressure too. Dak could have made sandwiches back there. Bryce got it done, Dak didn’t. Pretty simple.
Dak’s pass blocking has been excellent this whole season. Besides the fact they are playing horrible defenses, this is the biggest factor to the offensive success right know, and why the team invests so much draft capital in OL now. Dak has been sitting back in the pocket with all day to throw.

Anytime Dak starts facing a credible DL that can make him ansy, and he needs to process with any sort of accelerated pace, it’s all downhill and he implodes.
