Considering hes thrown multiple interceptions in must win games over and over and over again, its fair to say Romo hasnt won anything. Nothing is going to change. Romo is who he is, and now that he is nearing the end of his career, he isnt going to change and become Tom Brady. If we are winning with a young QB, there is absolutely no reason to put back a guy who had 10 years to produce and didnt get the job done.
And Dak will do the same.

I doubt Dak leads the league after 10 years in 4th quarter comeback wins and passer rating though ;)

He's also performed in must win games time and time again right? He's been in close games with a bad team for a decade. It could have happened with him in 2014 correct? He did enough to beat gb and nyg to advance to the nfccg.

Name those times and I will go ahead and name the must win games that he absolutely blew. I guarantee you he has choked much, much more in must win games. Lets see

2006 against the Hawks, yeah dont have to remind you.
2008 against the Eagles. How many points did he score again? 6?
2010, didnt have a chance to choke at the end during a must win game, but he did choke to a 1-4 start.
2011, I wouldnt say choke, but he didnt do enough to beat the Giants. ONLY 14 points in a must win game against the Giants
2012, three interceptions against the Commanders led by a rookie QB.
2013, injured, but we would have never been in the position we were with Kyle Orton(who almost won us the game despite having limited practice) if he didnt absolutely blow a lead against the Packers led by Matt Flynn

You act like Romo is suddenly going to become Brady and win us a title despite having 10 years to get the job done. Not going to happen.

How do you know this? We know Romo isnt a winner. Thats a fact. So far, Dak looks good and Cowboys should continue starting him.

Name one team with a winning record Dak has beaten....now lets talk about winners.

How many unbeaten, eventual superbowl teams has tony beaten?

Thats what I thought.

With every week that passes it looks like Dallas hit an absolute home run with this kid.

While he is still missing some things (particularly when it comes to seeing WRs a little bit downfield) and his accuracy isn't tip top, his command and decision making are superb. He plays smart football and doesn't turn the ball over. That will keep you in a lot of games by itself. Alex Smith has had a pretty good second half of his career by playing the same way.

I think Dak's upside is beyond that of Alex Smith.

Where's the * next to Ryan, Percy. There are better high school JV defenses out there than NO has this year, which is who Ryan lit up on Monday night.

I look at every snap he gets as an invaluable bonus to his early development. I think this is still Romo's team when he comes back, but this extended playing time will only help Dak when he's (presumably) takes over at the helm.
