As do I, but I was just pointing out that the way he is playing right now is similar to that of Smith and Smith has had a good bit of success over the past 6 or 7 seasons.
I would say his ceiling is roethlisberger and floor is Donavan McCabb. Big, strong, mobile enough, hard to bring down, accuracy hit or miss.

Name one team with a winning record Dak has beaten....now lets talk about winners.

How many unbeaten, eventual superbowl teams has tony beaten?

Thats what I thought.
Has Tony ever beaten a team that won the Super Bowl in the same year ? Last year we didn't play the bronco's - but we did play the Panthers - the runner up, and it didn't go so well

So Dak makes our schedule? Stop being delusional already. 10 years, Romo didnt get the job done. Not going to change.

I see where you're going with this, but remember, Romo has won 77 more games in this league than Dak. I have no problem putting Romo back into the lineup once he's healthy, but I will have a problem if the Cowboys don't give him a quick hook if he's clearly a downgrade from Prescott.

This is a fantastic response, that deserves to be highlighted. I'm still reading the first page, but wow, what a great post (coming from a Romo-maniac). Truth. Kudos.

Name those times and I will go ahead and name the must win games that he absolutely blew. I guarantee you he has choked much, much more in must win games. Lets see

2006 against the Hawks, yeah dont have to remind you.
2008 against the Eagles. How many points did he score again? 6?
2010, didnt have a chance to choke at the end during a must win game, but he did choke to a 1-4 start.
2011, I wouldnt say choke, but he didnt do enough to beat the Giants. ONLY 14 points in a must win game against the Giants
2012, three interceptions against the Commanders led by a rookie QB.
2013, injured, but we would have never been in the position we were with Kyle Orton(who almost won us the game despite having limited practice) if he didnt absolutely blow a lead against the Packers led by Matt Flynn

You act like Romo is suddenly going to become Brady and win us a title despite having 10 years to get the job done. Not going to happen.

If your son didn't move out of the house after ten years of living in the basement would you give up on him? Romo is my son. he's put his body through hell and performed over and over again. He's getting another shot this year to win it all.

New Orleans and Indy, can't believe you don't remember the 10,000 posts about how it meant we were defacto champions or something

The question is moot. Romo won't last 3 plays without risking eating through a straw for the rest of his life.

There are a lot of the people 'in the know" here that think Dak isn't doing very much and is the product of our superior coaching and game planning.

lol I hope Dak will be better than Alex Smith. Good grief.

As do I, but I was just pointing out that his current level of play is similar to that of Smith, who has done well for himself.

You can laugh at that comment all you want but Smith is 51-22-1 (0.705) as a starter since 2011 and he has a QB rating of 93.2

If you think those are numbers to laugh at, that's fine. I would gladly take that from a QB.

If Romo was so damn good, he wouldnt have to have all these 4th quarter comebacks.

This can't be a serious post, bro? It really, really can't be. Perhaps you're more inebriated than me, and tomorrow you'll wake up and realize that black outs suck.

I'm really confused...

Really, Chris?
