"Considering hes thrown multiple interceptions in must win games over and over and over again"

He's also performed in must win games time and time again right? He's been in close games with a bad team for a decade. It could have happened with him in 2014 correct? He did enough to beat gb and nyg to advance to the nfccg.

New Orleans and Indy, can't believe you don't remember the 10,000 posts about how it meant we were defacto champions or something

How could you forget 2007? Beat the Giants TWICE...and then the playoffs happened...

Dak has been fantastic. I have a lot of confidence him. Sadly I have zero confidence in the owner/coaching staff. Dak can only do so much before the "weakest link" gets in the way. Really looking forward to the Bengals game.

Has Tony ever beaten a team that won the Super Bowl in the same year ? Last year we didn't play the bronco's - but we did play the Panthers - the runner up, and it didn't go so well
I'd think we would have beat the Giants one of the years they won it, but I can't say for sure

80% of his passes were under 10 yards down the field.

I think this is more of a league wide trend vs a contained game plan for Dak Prescott TBH.

The modern passing game is an extension of the running game designed to set up defenses for kill shots. When a team like Dallas runs the ball as well it does, there is no need to press for big plays.

That's the only knock on him, and you just don't know what kind of quarterback he'll be until the time comes when he is forced to throw intermediate to long passes, but what he's doing is phenomenal for a guy that was picked in the 4th round. Honestly that's all you can ask of a backup quarterback is to manage the game, and don't be careless with the ball.

Is a dream come true. I don't think he'll ever win any awards but he's proven he can get the job done.

We will find out a lot these next two games against Cincy and GB in regards to keeping him over Romo.
I agree but remember he's a rookie so he is gonna have some tough games.
I think if the defense does their part Dak will keep us in the game.
Romo or Dak either way if the defense does not show up neither would win.

Kinda like what happened to Romo? Amirite? Is that where that lack of confidence comes from, UFC?

Bingo. Let's see Dak run this offense against two legitimate playoff contenders.

If he excels, I don't know that there's any turning back. If he doesn't, it'll likely make for an easy transition back to Romo for the rest of the season.

I like Dak. I like Romo. I'm more interested in winning, regardless who gives us the best chance at winning. But you guys who are hell bent on Romo getting back there....just know that chemistry is going to be off. He's not going to come out the blocks on fire. So, if we lose when Romo is back there....remember it's gonna take time to get timing and chemistry back. They are developing chemistry now....I'm just saying.

Sure, Romo had to deal with the same exact crap for sure. With that said, he had his chances in win and in/playoff games and he played well below his normal season stats. That is my issue with Romo. If Dak does the same thing, I will be the first to point it out. I don't get emotionally attached to any player. I care about my team first, if you don't do your job when it matters most, I will point it out.
