Of course you can. Brady threw INTs on three back to back possessions in the second half against the Packers two years ago and still made it to the Super Bowl.. You know why? Because he had a really good defense backing him ... I guarantee you if Dak throws 3 TDS and 1 INT in a playoff game and the running game goes for 200 yards the Cowboys will win that game no matter who the opponent is. In other words if he plays this exact game and his teammates play this exact game the Cowboys will win and advance. You know why? Because he has a really good defense backing him.

This forum of geniuses would complain about the 1 incompletion if dak went 29-30 for 300. I just think its habitual now. It started early in his career to critique every throw and compare them to what Romo did late in his career or any of the other top QBs
I just think they have been doing it for so long they know no other other way to critque him. Im not saying hes not without some fault but every throw has to be perfect on the money throws or it takes up a page and half in the game thread.

they see some of the Mahomes and allen throws and think thats what dak has to do when he just needs to do what hes doing. Hes putting up 40 burgers regularly well him and the rest of the offense. This run game is real. Kellen just needs to stick with it

completely agree with your qouted post

Last night was his lowest passing yardage game, but he finished with 100.8 passer rating and three TDs. The only thing concerning was the INT and the two that should’ve been picked. He throws more INT‘s than he used to. He’s been getting a little loose with some of his throws.
Don't forget CeeDee bailed him out, they ran for i believe over 200 yards, and defense was picking off every Matty Ice throw.

As i stated last night...there would be a game with the usual "fans" breaking out the magnifying glass over Dak's play.

Doesn't matter we won, doesn't matter we scored 57....they are on a mission of idiocy lol
If we got the to the Super Bowl by won loss record you might have a point.

We don't.

Dak has to play better than that

Same here. If the team's mindset is to be a physical run team with 2 effective RBs of differing skillsets, I'm all for it.
Smash'em and take your play action shots over the top when opportunities arise.

Occasionally, mix it up with the short passing game so as not to become a too one dimensional run only threat in order to keep the defense guessing.

Other than a slow start/lack of points early, I thought the offensive plan was beautiful and hope it stays that way.

The Colts dee is a good group. They hafta get credit too. But offensively, Ryan is running on fumes at this point. They deserve credit for hanging in for the time that they did until the turnover fest started.

Colts' defense was clearly playing to take away the over the top plays. Once Dallas settled in and took what they could get, the game was over.

Agree. He’s mechanically not sound and has the worst 3rd down pass rating of any QB in the league but he’s got a great defense, he’s tenacious and he’s winning.

Thing is, it’s not about the Colts or the Lions or even the Texans. They are fools gold.

It’s about facing a great defense vs the 49ers and an inevitable cold grey day in Philly in January. Everything else is window dressing right now.

To me, it is clear he is trying to respond to the criticism that he needs to see his receivers wide open instead of throwing to space and letting them go get it. In other words, he is finally trying to throw his receivers open.

He's made some nice throws doing this but he's made some horrible throws too. It's tough to change those spots so far into a career.

The final score was misleading, imo. The Colts self-destructed in the fourth quarter. To their credit, the Cowboys took advantage. But both the passing rush and the passing game were a spotty prior to then. It looked like they hadn’t practiced well. Good news is there’re plenty of miscues for the coaches to harp on this week.
When a team gets behind and they are running out of time they can't be as conservative as they were earlier and take chances which lead to turnovers. That's not really misleading that's just how things happen.

It was just another example of the less that Dak does the better we do overall.

Anytime he throws to a receiver out of screen it's scary.

I'm so sick of that play. Mahomes whips it. Dak does a complete turn, sets his feet and winds up .... theres virtually no chance of success

Daks accuracy is not nearly as good as the top flight qbs. Never will be. He is going to throw a few dumb passes and inaccurate passes almost every game. He however is a great leader, mentally tough and is a good face for the franchise. He is now what he will probably always be. Is what it is. Wishing for someone else to be here is just wishing and hoping. Neither will get you anywhere and mostly make you an angry and bitter man, and make you post stupid stuff on the Zone.

Crazy thing is I was begging for that last year. He wouldn't take shots. I'd rather he play this way. It can certainly back fire, but without the aggression this offense looked really bad last year.

That's an old stat that yall hung on to with a small sample size. I don't even need to look it up to know it's now obsolete.
