Prescott's worst game since his return?

He's fine. The less that's expected if him the better he/the team plays. Goes back to his rookie season.

The one thing I would like to see changed is his incredibly slow starts. Not going to bold well in the playoffs

Crazy thing is I was begging for that last year. He wouldn't take shots. I'd rather he play this way. It can certainly back fire, but without the aggression this offense looked really bad last year.

Taking shots and making ill-advised throws are two different things. He took plenty of shots last season, which is why he passed for so many yards and TDs. He’s made a few too many loose throws this season. He could’ve very easily had three INT’s last night.

To me, it is clear he is trying to respond to the criticism that he needs to see his receivers wide open instead of throwing to space and letting them go get it. In other words, he is finally trying to throw his receivers open.

He's made some nice throws doing this but he's made some horrible throws too. It's tough to change those spots so far into a career.

One of the criticisms the receivers have had this season is they don’t battle for the football. He’s made some poor decisions on throws trying to force them. He’s become a little careless this season.

Predictable.

The Cowboys win big yet Dak's numbers weren't good, therefore he sucks.

If he did have big numbers all we would hear is "Stats Prescott" and "it was only the Colts and the turnovers helped".

You know the narrative is transparent when every angle is known before they are even discussed. We get it. And get used to it since Dak is going to be the QB here for quite a while.

In totality, Dak sucks no matter what. For a guy making 40M he should be carrying this team, like Pat Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Josh Allen but instead he needs to be carried every week. This team is 9-3 in spite of Dak not because of him, he's replaceable but people in here don't see that.

I’m Daks worst critic about the contract.

But what the hell do you want from the guy perfection?

He’s human. And he’s pretty dam talented. He’s probably #5-7 QB in the league. It’s enough to win the SuperBowl.

Cut him some slack. I do think he learned more 5 weeks on the sideline than 6 seasons. But I’m glad he learned some things
.
He’s better. Plays more within the system. Sees the field better.

Yes. A fan watching a replay in slow motion can see he missed a wide open CeeDee. It’s going to happen. He will not see things. He will make wrong and stupid decisions.

He’s a human being. Geesh.

You want to talk about bad QB play, it's amazing how far Matt Ryan has fallen. He was absolutely brutal in last night's game, and has been brutal all year. It's way past glue factory time for him.

If the Cowboys didn't pay him that money somebody else would have. That's the price for a starting QB in today's game. And Lamar Jackson is a stretch and if Dak has thrown the number of picks Josh Allen has this year this forum would explode.

People with an anti-Dak agenda dwell on his shortcomings and minimize his strengths because it fits the narrative. The Cowboys can win every game by 50 points and they would find a reason to dump on Dak.

Am I saying he's perfect? No. Am I saying he's elite? Heck no. But is he top ten? Yes. Is he good enough to win a Super Bowl? Yes. And that's all that matters. To fuss about everything else is a waste of time because he's the Cowboys' QB and that's not changing. Best get used to it, or if he's hated that much, find a new team to root for instead of suffering through all these wins he's getting.

Don't you know that it's someone else's fault that Patty lost to them? Dak's the only QB allowed to take all the blame, even in a win.
It’s time to give him his due. He’s earned back my respect. We are in good shape with cap space now that things are expanding again, and some great strategic decisions in the off season.

Only thing I could be now is jealous of the money he makes. But it’s no longer keeping the team from building a winning roster.

Now, would I appreciate it if he reworked his contract when it’s time to resign Micah. Yes!

Yea how is Lamar different than Dak other than style? Believe he has the same playoff record for those that believe QBs single handedly win or lose games in the playoffs.

Worst game of his career. LOL

50 point blowout. A few more bad games from Dak and we should be good to go.:thumbup:

It was a 50 point blowout, but it was because of the defense, although Dak did toss three TD's. However, even you must admit it was not Dak's best game and he almost had some INt's but got lucky.

If the team keeps playing like this in all phases they have a good shot at making some noise.
