That stat was featured on the Herd just last week and to be nice I didn’t even go all the way with it.

He’s got the worst 3rd down pass rating of any QB since 2005!

It was a 50 point blowout, but it was because of the defense, although Dak did toss three TD's. However, even you must admit it was not Dak's best game and he almost had some INt's but got lucky.

If the team keeps playing like this in all phases they have a good shot at making some noise.

Dak had 3 TD passes and the offense was rolling and scoring TD's instead of FG's. The pick was a PI. QB's throw picks all the time in football games.

Dak did exactly what he had to do. Hell Aikman basically handed the ball off and threw for 180 yards and 1 TD per game in his career. People thought he was God.

Yes but the Colts defense is also very good, Mahomes, Hurts and other good QBs haven't looked good against them. Their offense being horrible is why they have a losing season, and yesterday you saw why.

Agree. He’s mechanically not sound and has the worst 3rd down pass rating of any QB in the league but he’s got a great defense, he’s tenacious and he’s winning.

Thing is, it’s not about the Colts or the Lions or even the Texans. They are fools gold.

It’s about facing a great defense vs the 49ers and an inevitable cold grey day in Philly in January. Everything else is window dressing right now.

Sorry but do you have some proof of this? Why post something false and use it to make an argument? I don't understand this sort of thing. The Cowboys have been the best 3rd down team in the league since Dak came back.. We know that dismal first game is still dragging his numbers down but they've all been trending upward since he returned. I'm sure he'll find his place among the league leaders by year's end. But for now he's gotta wear the bad numbers that skew him down. All while winning fabulously.. I'll take it. He's gotten his team two wins against teams that would make the playoffs if the season ended today in the last three games. I'm not sure there is any logical reason not to be happy about that.

I am concerned with Dak’s high number of interceptions but I blame the play design over the players. Defensive backs appear to run our routes like they know the plays being called.

He played like trash in the beginning. He was fine the rest of the game.

These cold starts with him need to stop.

Cold starts eventually lead to early exits, but lets enjoy this while it lasts.

He didn't play good in the beginning, but this game is 60 minutes, not 20. I judge QBs on the entire game, the entire career, and I also judge QBs on Super Bowl titles. But along with that, you have to judge the Coach/s, and players around them. So based on that, we haven't won a title in 27 years, so my guess is that no QB that we've had since Aikman has been good enough to win the title, and this includes Dak.

But for now, whatever you think about Dak, it was a win...and wins are all that matters to me.
