What does leveon bell have to do with defensive talent?

He mentioned 2nd round picks and i was pointing out that no 2nd round pick ever pans out regardless of offense or defense (i,e, Escobar, Gregory, Burnett, M. Bennett, Sean Lee has but again another "risk"). Why is it we never take "risks" on offense.
