Made an mistake typing error. I played football until the 10th grade. I gave up football because i wanted to get better at hockey and just to plain put it i wasn't a good CB. I get your point, its wrong, its the preseason....the 1989 Cowboys were 4-0 in the preseason...care to guess how that team turned out? Preseason does not mean jack, for a lot of reasons...you can argue about it all you want but arguing will not make you any more right...

You and him are doing the same exact thing. Giving your opinions about football. But yet mines is trumped because you don't agree with it. I don't want you to accept my opinion but i want my opinions to be respected not made a mockery of. Because i am not doing it to you or him. I respect his opinion but i don't agree with it. We agree to disagree, but stop thing what he says is a fact because for one it isn't. Some guys just love the game of football and will play ever game like its their last. Some guys will scoot through preseason because they are ready for them to put their body on the line for something that is meaningful.

Second, I will tell it to you as simple as I know how...your opinion is not trumped becuase I or someone else disagrees with it. It is trumped becuase it is fundamentally wrong....

It would be the same thing if someone came up and said "In my opinion the sky is red". Well I would disagree...their opinion would not be trumped becuase I disagree but rather because it is wrong...

Also things they learned to get better during the off-season using it in real game time. I don't care about wins or losses. You guys act like it does not matter. It does the team is using this to evaluate themselves and get ready for the season. Tunning their techniques and working on their weaknesses. Even the players say this so how does it not matter?

Couldn't have said it better myself. If my opinion about the defense sucking it up right now is wrong and they turn it up during the season then im glad im wrong. But if they still suck like they did last year when the season starts i will be pissed. It wont be "OMG I TOLD YOU CHICKEN LITTLES" or "I TOLD YOU HOMERS" This is why i like discussing sports with my friends because we all respect our opinions. On here its so segregated. Its between the "Homers" and the "Chicken Littles" everyone is on each side spewing filth trying to say a person is an idiot because of their opinion. Its straight up disrespect. I have never called someone an idiot because of their opinion i just simply tell them why i disagree and its over. The ones with 12,000 posts(excluding CB40,Woodysgirl, Clove and Hostile all great posters) are the ones that are always replying to someones post saying "you are an idiot" its simply not necessary.
