Pro Wrestling Updates

Just saw on Twitter that the WWE and RAW host Adnan Virk have mutually agreed to part ways.

Thought it was an odd hire in the first place.

RAW used to have an established announce team for years. Now it changes monthly.

Now I never want to see John Cena in a ring after he apologized to China saying Taiwan is not a country. I have never liked John Cena and this is the cherry on the top.

Taiwan is a country. That's like apologizing to the USSR . Cena sucks!!! Cena kissing China's butt so he can get more acting parts in Hollywood.

Never liked John Cena never appreciated anything he did as a wrestler . Rooted againist him. Only ones who liked Cena were annoying 12 year old kids with their hats on backwards who thought they were Gods at the Food Court at their local mall

Programming note:

AEW Dynamite will not be on tonight because TNT is covering the NBA playoffs.

AEW Dynamite will be on Friday night at 9:00 Central.

Just saw on Twitter that Jimmy Smith will be the play by play guy on RAW starting on May 31.

Anyone know anything about him? MMA perhaps?

If you missed last Friday night's episode of Smackdown, it's supposed to be shown again tonight on FS1. Better tape it and watch it later. Start time is midnight Central.

Don't forget that AEW Dynamite will be on TNT tonight at 9:00 Central.

If you are interested in tomorrow night's AEW PPV Double or Nothing, TNT will have a 30-minute program promoting it tonight at 6:30 Central.

Just saw on Twitter that the WWE has released Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Murphy, Ruby Riott, and Santana Garrett.

I can’t believe they let Strowman go! Black was a mistake too.

It feels to me like they’re slipping up and helping the competition in ARW, just like they did years ago with WCW.

Geez. Wonder what's going on. Those are shocking names. Especially Stroman. Always thought he was Vince's "creation" or "idea" so to say. Is this budget cuts? I thought WWE was drowning in money from the Saudi Arabia and peacock deals

Surprised they let Black go. Looked like the WWE was pushing him.

Makes you wonder if Vince McMahon will look to sell his stake in WWE. Considering that they are coming off of their most profitable year in history, and that they sold the WWE Network to NBCUniversal, the degree of cuts that they are making ahead of live events starting again would seemingly point to a strategic paring down ahead of a sale of some kind. JMO.

I had never taken the idea of McMahon selling the company seriously, but recent moves make me wonder.
