Wrestling and boxing champ Danny Hodge died yesterday at the age of 88.

Condolences to his family and friends.

Heard this and forgot to post about his passing. He was a real life tough guy but also a extremely nice guy. RIP.

SmackDown is on Fox and since Fox owns Fox Sports, they have a channel available to air replays.

I'm not a big fan of "Battle Royals".

The action is usually just a variety of blows, headlocks and eye gouges.

But this battle royal was something special– The action was typical battle royal stuff but the participant list was extraordinary...

It was a WWF "Legends" Battle Royal held in the Meadowlands in 1987.

The thing is there were several guys who weren't WWWF/WWF participants for the most part.

I don't know of another battle royal that had as many all-time greats as this one.
