Problem I have with Quinn

i think quinn adjusts well actually, but he may be stuck in a situation where hes trying to cover other weaknesses. The only issue i had with him or the dline coach or even parsons ego was just lining up only on TWs side

Why aren't the players on both sides of the ball not getting after their coordinators to scheme up better plays and schemes? Are they afraid to get benched?
They'd have to truly care about the outcomes of games and have that fire like Diggs has in Buffalo.

That man is playing for more than a paycheck and I’d like to see some of that fire from our players too.

Other than Micah tough talking on his podcast after losses, I’m not sure if there’s any other players that pretend to give a dam……..and NOBODY gets benched in Dallas. Just tolerated until it’s too late

If teams are going to take two guys to block your best defender you should be able to make them pay. We have to take advantage of that or else every team is gonna do it
Easier said than done when the rest of the DEs are basically journeymen or morons. This defense goes as Persons goes.

After watching Purdy, Hurts struggle today, Both opposing teams blitzed a ton, kept the qb in the pocket and made them make plays with their arms. So why can't we do the same against these mobile qb offenses. The rams made Joshua dobbs look bad as well who lit us up. I like Quinn, but I feel he's stubborn at times......

I watched last week against the 49ers Micah parsons doubled or chipped on every play... It didn't matter where he lined up it was happening. If teams are going to take Micah out of the game, you need to be able to adjust to that. Maybe send a 5th guy, create a matchup for someone else. The few times we did blitz it felt like we got home. The defense can't be "hope Micah gets pressure". Teams are going to continue to do everything they can to take him out of games until Quinn does something about it.
HOPE MICAH GETS IT, very good point, we depend too much on one player, in that aspect it's unfair to the player

DQ is either really good or pretty bad, not much in between there. I realize that the players need to execute better but some of his scheme(calls) is puzzling at times. I don’t want to see him as the next HC if Mike were to be let go.
He ultimately flopped as a HC.

But I just can’t see Jerry hiring a younger guy.

Yep, Purdy is a newbie
Some DC was going to figure him out.
Well, I know this much. Purdy isn’t going to get a 7 year pass bc of what he did last year. Nobody in SF thinks he’s the second coming of Montana or Young. He will keep the job until they have a better option which might be sooner than later.

....after watching Clev get Purdy's number. Im convinced, DQ had no idea planning for Niners. (40-10 )

He went with basics, hoped for the best. CLE put out the blueprint for everyone.

Sometimes you need, someone else to bring the hammer first. Then, that sheds light on the darker things.
The wet ball?

So, I guess fans don't want him to be HC anymore....damn, a bad game or two and all the good he's done is erased? LOL!!

look i've been saying this all year , dan quinn's had little stretches like this since he's been here , hes not getting pass from me or even an option for our next HC position as people are hoping for..

people don't want to hear this but 80% of the reasons we lost the last two games was because of the defense...

The Browns ran the ball and stopped the run.

It's not about blitzing, it all about the run game with regards to the Niners.

By design if Micah is double teamed ( or triple teamed ) that should free up at least one of the DL to have an easier route to Qb, the problem is Dlaw , Armstrong and DTs are not winning enough.

I posted several times; Jim Schwartz knows how to beat Shanny's offense. After today, he is 9-1 against Shanahan.
Quinn should study what he did/does to beat Shanny's scheme next time we play the Niners.
wow, interesting. He's doing something right.

DQ gets to artsy fartsy. Instead of football 101, stopping the run first, THEN playing field position and fundamentals. We get in trouble when he gets 2 cute with his stunting.
