Programming: Rhein Fire game starting now

I'd be pretty sure that we got to dictate some of the terms of Henson going to NFLE. He's the highest profile guy in the league so we likely were able to get some guarantees about playing time.
 
I don't get all the positive praise for Chang by these announcers, and it was the same last week. Chang was 6-13 last week, and I have him at 5-10 this week, and to hear these guys talk you would think he is lighting it up.

Henson: 9-11 for 101 yds. Longest pass was completed for 33 yds. Current QB rating is 104.9

Not too bad for only a 1st quarter of play.

Not bad at all. One of those incompletions happened when he threw the ball away.

I've been impressed with Henson's play today. He just needs to stay sharp when he gets back in.
 
While I am pulling for Henson, I don't want to get too hyped over one quarter. Let's see how he finishes this game, and if he can at least put up some similar numbers over a 2-3 game stretch. I am encouraged, don't get me wrong, just hate to think the light has come on then he comes back and tanks. GUARDED OPTIMISM.;)
 
nice 1st half...would have been nice to see Henson take some more shots downfield, but he is throwing very well...threw one ball away and had the other incompletion dropped

his footwork looks much better as well

I really hopes he improves weekly...I would hate to see us waste a 2nd or 3rd rd pick on a QB to develop, let Henson go and watch him develop someplace else because we gave up on him too soon

Agree.
Been a Henson fan from the very beginning.
Let's see how he handles the rest of the game.

I'm also a huge Brady Quinn fan though. I'd prefer Henson turn into the second coming of Troy though since the WR draft next year is going to be so stocked.
Maybe Henson heard about Dallas talking to Whitehurst?
 
Depends on which screen you choose to believe. Some radars have a blip with Bordie Royle's name on it.
 
What happened on Drew's last two incompletions? Were they bad throws or what? I am at work with no viewing access.
 
That is how I know his last two attempts were incomplete. That does not tell me if they were errant throws however.

Whitehurst has protoype size, excellent mechanics and was a 3 year starter at Clemson.

Croyle is 205lbs soaking wet and tore ACL's on both knees...I'd seriously pass.
 
Well I would pass on both, but there are reports out there of Dallas being interested in both, depending on what you read and choose to believe.
 
Henson is shredding it......... 14 for 19. glad to see him get this many attempts and keep drives going.

I like it, I wish the NFL would adapt that rule. And I consider myself to be pretty old school in my thinking.:)
