His poise is great also. Never seems flustered.
This is why this should have been done last year!rw54 said:To me he has always been a guy with great talent but was in a deep hole. Now I can see him getting out of the hole and getting on more of a level ground. Where he goes from here, I don't know, but its getting more interesting.

Should he have run out of bounds at the 32, to make sure the offense doesn't go too far to attempt a four-point field goal? Or should the quarterback run out of bounds at the 32 on the next play? Or do they just take two shots at the end zone, since they're TOO CLOSE TO THE END ZONE to tie the game?
Any rule that goes against the whole point of the game is stupid, if you ask me. If the NFL ever adopts such an asinine rule, I'll lead the campaign against it.

They are idiots for waiting this long.:bang2:

I haven't like they way they've handled him since day one.
...the Thanksgiving debacle...changing his throwing motion...moving him down in the depth chart and making him inactive....I don't care what anyone says, seems like there was an agenda.
Juke99 said:I've been rooting for him since the michigan days.
I felt he looked better in his first preseason with the Cowboys than he has any time since...and he's looked way too deliberate since then.
This was a very encouraging performance. He's doing and saying all the right things. Kinda difficult not to root for a guy like him.
Let's hope he keeps it going.
You could be right but even if Parcells continues to remain "in love" with Romo as his backup, this is a great way to showcase Henson's skills to the rest of the league. There's no doubt that as long as he remains consistent after today's game, it should generate enough interest from other NFL teams that need another quarterback and could possibly land us a high draft pick.CowboyChris said:i sense that a backup QB controversy is coming on, Henson vs Romo.

It's a little like hitting a golf ball. You have to find what is comfortable to you and what works.
