I was shocked. Maybe he missed the game on Saturday.
mcnabb has been overrated since day 1

His team racked up some wins in his time, but his team also had the best defense in a weak NFC so they were usually playing with the lead.
He has some stats, but he has played his entire career in an offense designed for QBs to put up numbers.
It would also be interesting to see how many of his passing yards were RAC, particularly by guys like Westbrook and TO.

Tony has clearly been better so far. I fully expect him to again play top drawer in the rematch. But he'll have a heck of a lot of work in front of him.
i love the show and both guys on itglorydaysrback;3201422 said:On top of the fact that Wilbon absolutely despises the Boys, Mcnabb is also from Chicago..that probably had a little to do with it as well

Until Romo proves otherwise he's nothing, but a sunshine superman. I don't know why this is so difficult for Dallas fans to understand. The regular season is largely irrelevant for anything other than positioning to get into the playoffs. Nobody outside of us remembers Tony Romo winning X game against X team in the regular season for more than a season or two. What they do remember is Tony Romo mishandling the FG hold (which is kinda unfair since it was unrelated to him quarterbacking) and ultimately losing to the Seahawks or Romo's 13-3, Pro Bowl studded Cowboys losing to the Giants.
Donovan McNabb, regardless of whether he's won a championship or his play, is recognized as a quarterback who leads the Eagles deep into the playoffs on a regular basis and has them contending for a title.

Wilbon needs to be dropped kick with his hate for the Cowboys.

I love how people love to say that football is a team game, and then ascribe things like won-loss record to a single player. Makes a ton of sense.
