His MVP season 2019.what year did Lamar Jackson lead the league in TD passes?
Disagree with a few, but I'm sure you would do the same if I made a list. This is how I do my tiers:
Tier 1 is Elite: Elite is a horribly overused word, this is reserved for the pinnacle of QB play. If you accomplish this tier for a number of years in a row, you’re a shoe in for the Hall of Fame. Sometimes there are 5 elite QBs, sometimes there is 1.
Aaron Rodgers
Pat Mahomes
Tom Brady
Tier 2 is Great: If the All-Pro QB is not from the 1st Tier, then it is almost assuredly from this tier. If you have a strong roster, there is never any question whether or not you’re a true contender when this QB is healthy.
Russell Wilson
Matt Stafford
Deshaun Watson
Josh Allen
Justin Herbert*
Lamar Jackson
Tier 3 is Pro Bowl Caliber: QB’s who will put up nice stats if the Oline is healthy and the skill positions are well-invested. QB’s who can reliably finish the season with winning records when everything is going right, will make an occasional pro bowl if a guy higher on the list is injured, Though will rarely if ever be considered for All-Pro. Also Not impossible to make a super bowl run of the team is loaded.
Joe Burrow*
Kyler Murray
Dak Prescott
Kirk Cousins
Jimmy GQ
Ryan Tannehill
Derek Carr
Tier 4 is Franchise QB Caliber: It’s not a bad idea to extend these guys, as finding one to fit on a higher tier is pretty rare. May make a pro bowl or two in their career, otherwise they’ve signed up for the mantra “Good Enough is good enough.” Can squeeze into the playoffs with a talented enough team.
Mac Jones
Jared Goff
Jameis Winston
Jalen Hurts
Tua Tagovailoa
Carson Wentz
Baker Mayfield
Tier 5 is Work In Progress: Who knows? Who cares?
That guy in Houston
That guy in New York A
That guy in New York B
That guy in Jacksonville
That guy in Seattle
That guy in Pittsburgh
That guy in Chicago
That guy Im probably forgetting
* = I need more than a playoff run to judge Burrow. His regular season was not tier 2 caliber, but we’ll see how he follows up his 3 consecutive playoff wins. On the same note, I may have Herbert too high… just tough to rate QBs on a couple very early seasons. ESPECIALLY one who has never even made the playoffs.
Spot on.https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...s-among-franchise-guys-placeholders-and-more/
Dak outside the top 10 in the same tier as Carr, Cousins, Tannehill, Murray, Winston, Jalen Hurts, Mac Jones, Tua Tagovailoa
Can't say I disagree. He's in the "Can win with them" tier
He won’t be out the league that’s a stretch. Cooper Rush is in the league but Dak won’t be lol?If they use him correctly Dak can be top 5. If they keep him in the pocket he'll be out of the league in 2 seasons.
you go!Who are the top 10 quarterbacks of 2021?
- Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs. Midseason Ranking:
- Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills. Midseason Ranking:
- Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers.
- Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals.
- Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers.
- Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams.
- Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys.
- Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals.
I mean isn’t this said about most guys? Aaron Rodgers for sure has two very good running backs.
I don't agree on Jackson being a Franchise QB. exciting. makes a lot of runs. but gets easily neutralized in post season. I don't like RBs mascarading as QBs.https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...s-among-franchise-guys-placeholders-and-more/

You're an emotional wreck.“For when the season starts”???
LOLLLLL nice try, child.
We’ll see where NFL PLAYERS, COACHES AND EXECS rank Dak Prescott.
Like I’ve said all along.
Be prepared to lose yet again. Losers lose.

He was a 4th round, feel good story, only got a shot because of injuries, and an overachiever. It’s funny how the media appears to be turning on Dak after he got paid. I seem to remember when the Cowboys franchised him the media had him as a top 5 quarterback and the Joneses were being cheap. Now that he is paid Dak is an average quarterback.
Every QB ever. People act like having s good team is a slight on the qb. It's a TEAM game!I mean isn’t this said about most guys? Aaron Rodgers for sure has two very good running backs.
People really get hypocritical on the Dak discussion when they list guys like Watson in front of him. Literally the same complaints people have about Dak(lack of playoff success) can be said about Watson except Dak has never had a LOST 12 GAMES in a season. You lost with Watson in Tier 2, for now he belongs in Tier 3 easily. Your take on burrow is off also. Watson has done crap taking his team any further in the playoffs that Dak has done. But yet Burrow takes his team to the SB in year 2. He completely turned that team around. I am not saying Dak needs to be in Tier 2, but pretty dang close if you have Watson in there.
Your " * " logic at the bottom makes no sense and does not follow the Watson / Burrow ranking.
Basically this is your opinion, but that part I disagree with.
EXACTLY lol. Like a QB year in and out takes a bad coaching staff and bad roster to the playoffs lol. It just doesn't happen.Every QB ever. People act like having s good team is a slight on the qb. It's a TEAM game!
