Its very simple.

" Would you want Brett Favre as the starter in Dallas? "

Now ofcourse you look at who you got at QB before you answer the question. I garuantee you that if Dallas had someone like Ryan Leaf or Jay Fiedler as a QB then the poll would be slanted towards Favre.

Simple. Simple. Simple.
The poll does not ask if they want Bledsoe.

The poll asks if they want Favre.

Assuming Bledsoe is the ONLY other option in evey other person's mind is ludicrous.

That's like me making a poll.

Is Blue your favorite color? 85% vote no, so I say, wow, 85% of the people have red as a favorite color.

It doesn't work that way.

It is invalid.

This isn't rocket science you know.

You can abuse me til the cows come home, but the fact of the matter is 85% of dallas wants Bledsoe as the starter....pretty surprising, I even admit considering the amount of Bledsoe hate going on at times.

Just admit you voted against Favre coming here and we can let it go.....:p:
I didn't vote punching bag. I already said I didn't vote. I rarely do when the poll is useless.

It doesn't have to ask. We've got him. You're reaching on this one. If it was redone with Bledsoe vs. Favre the results would be the same. Favre was a great player, had a better career than Bledsoe, but he's as done as the Easter turkey.

If the poll had multiple options the results would not be 85% for Bledsoe.

Want proof? Create one with 10 options and see for your self. This is a poll with 1 option.

I think Hostile's argument was that Favre was a better QB IN HIS PRIME. Now, I wouldn't take Favre over Bledsoe, but if both QBs were in their prime, I would take Favre.

That is partially what I said. Dead guy said that Favre was only "slightly better" than Bledsoe for their careers.

Uh, no he's head and shoulders better. I suspect that if you asked most GMs to choose one or the other for this year that most of them would choose Favre, even after the 29 INT season. There's a reason.

I would too. Those Packer teams were a well oiled machine.

Whoa, honesty from one of these jokers.

I give you credit sir.

Then but not now. Bledsoe is the better QB now.

As the new poll is concerned.. There are only a very few QBs I would take over Bledsoe... Well Palmer is the only one I can think of right now. Definatly one of my top 5 anyway.

Well, Parcells and JJ aren't "most GM's (or coaches)" and they both seem pretty well delighted with Bledus Maximuse's performance last year.

And give us a break -- Favre is DONE. He simply lacks the discipline to compete in a league that has changed and is more about ball control and avoiding mistakes than going long-ball all day. Give Bledsoe the credit he deserves for at least trying to change with it.

I stand by my original statement that Favre was never more than slightly better than Bledsoe. There is no way of guaging the effect of the different systems and coaches the two players had thrust upon them. The Pats organization was devastated after Parcells left. Pete Carrol had no control over the players. Belichick uses a system that requires the QB to do the exact opposite of what Bledsoe is best at. And Buffalo is on the verge of losing their pathetic franchise to another city. Favre enjoyed stability and a damn good supporting cast for a storied franchise for a long, long time. And before Parcell's left, Bledsoe was looking like the every bit the QB Favre was at the time.

Doesn't matter to me.

My point is made already.

This poll was invalid. The result was pre-written.

You might want to retract the idiotic statement huh?

And that folks is exactly why I begged him not to try and debate me to begin with.

In the face of overwhelming evidence he's still completely myopic.
