It is a valid question, no one was thinking he would play all 16.
I think they are prepared if that does happen , or the would find a way to pay for all 16 + any playoff games.

A better question would be "will they have to restructure another player's contract if Hardy plays all 16 games?"

They could also redo his contract once they know how many games he will miss such that a dummy (player voidable) 2nd year is added. That would allow them to push money into next year's cap.

The Cowboys would have to be morons to sign a player that they could not afford if his suspension is reduced or eliminated. Most people have believed it would end up at only 2 games if if went to court.

Probably why we went long at RT this offseason. I predict next year will probably have two secondary, and at least 1 DL in the first 4 picks. If Wilcox turns a corner this year that'll really help. I'm also hoping Patmon finds his groove and White turns out to be a better option than Barry at safety.
