Question for the pro-Dak fans on here?

So you can't answer the question.

GM is smart to build a team with a lead, when the game starts tied. He is a genius.
When your QB throws INT'S,, fumbles, and kills drives at will this is on him. When your QB hasn't learned this after 8.45 years, it's on him. When your QB looks utterly confused 8.45 years after these issues started, it's on him. When your QB goes up on the podium and says he has to be better weekly after 8.45 years, it's on him. Our GM is an idiot by the way

Because I look at his skill set. He’s a good QB. He’s not a great QB. He needs to be in the right system and have a talented roster around him. Dallas has failed him in that regard and again, one could argue he failed himself by not giving the FO more leverage to give him the talent he needs by negotiating a cap friendly deal.

When you’re a QB like Dak, one of the worst places, if not the worst, you could end up is Dallas where FA is an anathema and the FO almost completely relies on the draft to stock high end talent.
And explain to me whats his skill-set?

Is he above average at reading defenses and seeing the field?

Does he have good mechanics?

Does he manage the pocket well?

Does he go through progressions consistently?

Is he accurate?

Is he clutch?

Can he improvise?

Never hated dak, always liked the guy.

Dont even blame him for taking his contract cause not like cap boy and jerruh wouldve done anything with all extra cap space anyway.

All that said, dude is pretty bipolar with his play to the point its maddening to watch. Watching Romo or really any other good QB make all those nice throws really makes me annoyed cause Dak shows flashes, but then just seems to overthink or forget his fundamentals.

Everybody must vote for another team now!!!!! If you don't have a shirtless poster of Dak then you aren't a real fan.

You are clueless. Every player in the world after a loss says I/we have to be better.

Troy has more int's than Dak and more pick sixes on less pass attempts.

When does Jerry say he has to do better?

He says I am shocked and humbled. I was not shocked one bit. There are at least 8 teams that can do the exact same thing to us the Lions did to us.

The team is built for a lead has to be the dumbest idea I have ever heard of.

So when we are losing exactly how are you supposed to catch up, if we are not built to catch back up???

He has decent arm strength, decent accuracy, can move in the pocket, and has a decent football IQ. He’s not great in any one area but he’s good enough overall to win a SB in the right system with the right roster.

Serious Question

Why is Dak always absolved of any blame when it comes to his poor play. After every INT, its either the receiver ran the wrong route or didnt do enough to break the pass up (see both ints when targeting ceedee in the endzone). After every fumble in the pocket (Sacks are a qb stat). And the most frequent excuse is scheme and lack of weapons. Was this not the same scheme when he was 2nd in mvp voting last season?

Cowboys twitter is filled with posts like this one. This is now the third offense where Dak fans have casted blame on the scheme.

The last question I pose is, what supposed top-5 QB have you seen constantly given these excuses for poor play? If he is as good as yall say, shouldnt his talent be able to overcome a “bad scheme”?

Look like ya brodie Dez is pro Dak lol

He can’t sling it and has no mobility now. Why would anyone give this guy that contract. That’s Jerry slapping us in the face with it. This team will go nowhere with #4 at the helm. It’s like watching a movie you’ve seen a hundred times. We all know the ending

They are all over the place. You'd think a $60 million a year quarterback could have just a tiny bit of accuracy. Nope. He throws the ball everywhere except between their numbers. 3 ft ahead, 3 ft behind, at their feet, well above their heads to get intercepted. He's all over the place. But I hear that's everyone else's fault except for his so that's one positive to take away from this.
And that's what you get when a quarterback doesn't have time in the pocket , be allowed to set his feet all the time. Great quarterbacks can pull it off.
But inconsistent, quarterbacks cannot, and we've got a tough schedule,
With a quarterback, whose scouting report said inconsistent, accuracy.
That shows up when pressure shows up.

Look at our record when we have the lead vs. when we don't. You are not comparing Dak to Troy are you? The same Troy who is in the hall, has won Super Bowls and has Super Bowl MVP's to show for it? The same Troy who hasn't won a regular season MVP award by the way

How is it the stupidest thing? If you have watched Dak play QB you know that when he is pressing, and when the team is down he is not good at the forward pass. This has been Dak the last 8.45 years, and it's clearly getting worse. Not every QB says they have to be better, they go out the next big game and show that they are.

This isn't about Jerry by the way, the team is a by-product of him and his son

You would think, a GM with 35 years of experience would know you need to be able to run and stop the run, if you want to be a playoff contender.

Aikman came into the league 35 years ago as the #1 pick to an abysmal team that only got worse his first year in the league. Different players, rules, refs, schemes, environment, competition, etc. There was a period of about four to five years where the team was top quality and highly competitive and he capitalized on it. Everything outside of that was on the way up or on the way down depending on which JJ had control.

Comparing their stats without this context as if this equalizes them is stupid.

I wonder if Jim Kelly played the same time Boy Wonder played??? Kelly's stats dominate Aikman's.

Without the rings Troy is a nobody.
