Aikman came into the league 35 years ago as the #1 pick to an abysmal team that only got worse his first year in the league. Different players, rules, refs, schemes, environment, competition, etc.

Comparing their stats without this context as if this equalizes them is stupid.
You forgot to mention Troy's 11-5 playoff record, and he also broke the record of some guy named Joe for consecutive passes without an INT...but I digress

Compare Troy stats to the QB's that played the same time. His numbers sucked. He was average at best.

You and your stats, it's no wonder Dak lives in your head. Average QB's don't make it to the Hall, nor win 3 Rings. According to you then, why does Troy have more rings than the stat padder has playoff wins? I give you credit for amusing us though

No. You misspelled “efficient” which he was for the type of offense he played in.
He was extremely efficient at handing the ball to Emmitt.

How come when Emmitt did not play or was held to below 100 yards, Aikman lost 60% of the time??? How come he was not very efficient during those games.

Serious Question

Why is Dak always absolved of any blame when it comes to his poor play. After every INT, its either the receiver ran the wrong route or didnt do enough to break the pass up (see both ints when targeting ceedee in the endzone). After every fumble in the pocket (Sacks are a qb stat). And the most frequent excuse is scheme and lack of weapons. Was this not the same scheme when he was 2nd in mvp voting last season?

Cowboys twitter is filled with posts like this one. This is now the third offense where Dak fans have casted blame on the scheme.

The last question I pose is, what supposed top-5 QB have you seen constantly given these excuses for poor play? If he is as good as yall say, shouldnt his talent be able to overcome a “bad scheme”?

1993 Super Bowl Aikman threw for 4 td's, and 270 yards. Emmit ran for 108...ie. balanced attack, and if Troy didn't have the success he did nor would Emmmit. 1996 Super Bowl Emmit ran for 49 yards, Troy threw for 209 and 1 TD. Not sure what your point is?

Maybe you arent familiar with my posts on this board.

I have threads trashing the front office. Threads trashing Mike Zimmer. Threads trashing McCarthy.

My Dak posts/threads obviously are the only ones you focus on because you too are one of the fans that make excuses for him. Like moth to a flame
it's why you're one of my favorite posters.
you are an equal opportunity "trasher".
much love for cowboys fans livin' in enemy territory.

I never doubted that Troy had a good game once I a while.

My point is Troy was a tremendous bus driver.

LOLOL bud. Okay, tap out and call it a night. Cheers
1 TD pass per game in a career is not impressive.

Again, with out the rings Troy never would have even been considered to be nominated for the HOF.

One more, lol. If Troy was a bus driver, what is Dak? Mechanic? Passenger? Ticket taker? Or is he the guy who jumps the line and doesn't pay for his bus fare?

We don't have bus. How could he be a bus driver.

According to our vans Dak is on a motorcycle and expected to win games all by himself.
