Literally no TDs made last week. That’s the fault of the offense as a whole but Dak as well. You’re the highest paid player in the league and can’t even get the 6 points.

When you set record breaking contracts you better damn well carry this team on your back and make things happen. #4 is not a Gamechanger. He’s a bus driver and doesn’t deserve what he got paid.

This isn't about Troy. Troy is long retired. This is about the 240 million dollar choker.
Troy won 3 Superbowls. Dak wont sniff one.
Troy had the best team money could buy and was ever assembled.

I mean i dont understand how anybody can dispute any of this.

When you cant make anything happen off-script, you dont deserve to be the highest paid player in the league

Like I said. This isn't about Troy. He won 3 Superbowls. Dak won't get close to one unless he buys tickets. Maybe he gets lucky leaves Dallas and becomes a backup for a Superbowl team.
It is about Troy. You only want to talk about QB's on a football team. This is not golf. It does not work that way.

You don't get to dictate to me how I look at QB's.

Troy did not win the SB's. His team won 3 SB's.

The Cowboys won 3 SB's in the 90's.

The 1992 Buffalo Bills had 10 pro bowlers and the #2 offense in the NFL.

The 1992 San Francisco 49ers had 7 pro bowlers, the NFL’s MVP, the best record in the NFL, and the #1 offense in the league.

The 49ers lost in the NFC Championship game.

The Bills lost in the Super Bowl.

A common theme is Aikman outplayed Steve Young and Jim Kelly in those games.

Dak can have the greatest team around him of all-time but if he plays like playoff Dak (multiple three and outs and turnovers)… his team probably still cannot win a divisional round playoff game.

Does Dak run the ball?

Does he play defense?

Dak should only have to throw 1 TD and 1 pick per game for 220 yards. Just like Troy Aikman.
Young in's are stats chasers but didn’t get to see the glory of aikmans arm. He did it in different era and can’t compare stats with facts. Aikmans arm, ability to read and audible were tens times what that 4th rounder only dreams about

It has nothing to do with Pro Bowlers. It has to do with a complimentary balanced football team.

When we lose, that’s because football is a team game and we have weaknesses in the offensive line, at running back, at wide receiver, and the defensive line, and in other spots in the defense too. Plus the coaches suck.

When we win, it’s because Dak won the game

I hope this clears up your confusion.

It ultimately comes down to QB play. That is why the QB is the highest paid position.

Dak got outplayed by Mr. Irrelevant, Brock Purdy, twice in the playoffs and by Jordan Love…

While Aikman outplayed NFL legends and Hall of Famers Steve Young 2x, Jim Kelly 2x, and Brett Favre 3x in the playoffs.

No it ultimately does not. If you are giving up 6 yards a carry you don't need to throw the ball at all.

Teams might actually be able to beat us without a QB. Just hike it directly to the RB.

Dak now has what Sam Howell had last year and and he looks worse than Sam Howell and I’m here for it…. Remember all those times Dakazoids were propping up Dak beating up on horrible defenses with garbage blocking and no run game?

Remember after week 1, the Browns were an elite defense that Dak picked apart and Zeke looked light on his feet..

How the good times roll on..

Dak and the Cowboys are able to consistently go on long drives chewing up clock that result in touchdowns (to keep the opposing offenses off the field)?

Or are they going three and out, turning the ball over, and not getting first downs on fourth downs in their own territory?

Dak isn't playing well, but honestly don't believe a single QB in the NFL would be thriving in the conditions he is in.
  • Zero running game or even threats in the backfield
  • Pressured on 50% of his drop back passes
  • 4 sacks and 11 QB hits
  • WRs who aren't getting separation
  • Scheme that is not helping anyone get open
  • Receivers running into each other because players are inexperienced and running the wrong routes or the play concept sucks
  • Near the top of the league in penalties

I hate to break it to you but QB's don't actually play against QB's. They play against the opposing QB's defense.

You must think Troy threw 15 passes per drive for 80 yards. No that was Emmitt Smith grinding out the yards and eating up the clock making it a manageable 3 and for 4 for Troy.

You fail to comprehend when the priority was to stop Emmitt, Troy's job became significantly easier.

Whether you like it our not these team was built around Emmitt Smith, not Troy Aikman.
And Dak had zeke who was also the top of running backs, what did he do with it? Nothing, Aikman and the greats that win seize the opportunity. Dak just missed his opportunity and now he and everyone that supports him can deal with all the criticism that he/yall deserve
