Since when, on a Dallas Cowboys board, did the threads have to have consequence with the current season?

Why did you chooses THIS thread to complain about threads with no consequence?

If you opinion is about consequence then this is one of the last threads to complain about because it is about a Cowboys player, on a Cowboys board.

Hide it all you want but you chose this thread to dump on Henson, not because it was the one of the least consequence!

Its a free country feel free to think or believe whatever you want.

Funny, a simple discussion on throwing motion and injury about Henson turns into this crap.

Why did it turn into this crap?

Because Nors and Charles wanted to weigh in about hoe right they are and about how wrong everyone else is.

I for one like to know what is going on with Henson.

What is so bad about that?

Future or not, Henson has put in a ton of work since becomming a Cowboy, Has the talent necessary to be a NFL QB, some will try to argue I'm sure.

The question is, can he overcome the layoff and lack of experience to become a productive QB in the NFL.

No one really knows at this point and many have their opinions.

Why can't we have a simple discussion about him without having this "I told you so" crap thrown into the middle of it?

It still doesn't change the fact that the cowboys were in the hunt for the play-offs until the last 3 games and neither Romo nor Henson had done anything in practice to surpass Vinny........ so then..... again any threads about him would have been of no consequence.

I do. They are very vital to every team, but at this point and time when our starting QB is playing well and our back-up hasn't given up his spot, then quite frankly Henson is as inconsequential as Kincade is to our Running game.

But it would be nice if your dog in this race could atleast show the ability to push for or earn the starting job. He hasn't done either in the last 2 seasons.


Thats cool. So do I. It doesn't change the fact TODAY based on our QB situation, leading up to the Chiefs game Henson is as conseuquential as to the passing attack as Kincade is to the running attack capiche!!!

Can anyone list the 3rd string QBs that have been on this team for the last 5 seasons?

2004 - tony romo
2003 - tony romo
2002 - clint stoerner
2001 - anthony wright (clint stoerner was the 4th stringer)
2000 -clint stoerner

a bunch on no-names.

any who. i still have high hopes that henson will eventually develop. he has all the tools, all he needs is a little grooming. the nfle experience will do wonders for him and he's still a young man. it couldn't hurt. there are quite a few current and former nfl qb's go benefited greatly from the european experience. namely brad johnson, kurt warner and jake delhomme. two of them even wear super bowl rings. of course for every jake delhomme theres's a ron powlous. the least we can do is try.

I am sure it's happened to every team at some point in their history. And it's not
outside the realm of possibility it could happen here.

That third team QB is an afterthought...until, whoops! he's playing...

Yeah, don't I? Thats why Hamstring or Sprain wont let the player really play without being healthy, especially a QB. Although I am not talking about Minor Sprain etc.

Separated shoulder. That usually heals right up and will almost guarantee a missed start if it happens on the throwing shoulder.

I have not seen that followed up or expanded on by any writer.

And I have daily google reports emailed to me on "Drew Henson".

Maybe one of us should write to Matt's Mailbag and ask Matt if he was dreaming.

Hey LaTunaNostra, what does those reports say about Henson? Anything positive? I am still pulling for him and hope he comes through for us one day so we do not waste a #3 draft pick.
